"on a very pleasant sunny afternoon my wife and I just went over Scarborough south bay from holbeck hill and were looking for somewhere to eat. we stayed outside of alfresco and were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu and a series of good food...in the offer. we ordered two Ciabatta sandwiches, fight and a part of the rocky road, which we thought very cheap about £8.80 and went over the road in the peaseholme park. we found a sun bench and enjoyed a beautiful picnic. General fillings, nice well cooked food, it is a long time since we had sandwiches so good. that was Wednesday, 4th november, which began the day before the lockdown. we will live out this memory in the coming weeks and hope that the business will survive. we will certainly be back for more of this beautiful fayre."

"Love staff ,love food , shouldn't have got the halepinos though lol But got a £5 rice box with Chilli con carne and Wow massive and lovely Only gripe wish there was a bit more sauce with chilli con carne but a minor thing They probably had it but just never asked for it I'd give it 10* if I could , can't recommend it enough I'd walked past loads of times and decided to go in glad I did Only think they don't take cards but do bank transfer/PayPal cash. "Amazing Views Ask Italian is situated on the harbourside in Scarborough. Our table was on the first floor looking out across the boats in the harbour. Definitely one of the nicest views in Scarborough. As always the lentil ragu was delicious along with the olive and rosemary bread. The waitress was cheerful and attentive. The only thing that let the restaurant down was its dessert menu, each option had one too many ingredients making them overly fussy and therefore unappealing. So we went across the road to the harbour bar for dessert."

"If you need it, you can be sure this shop will have it ! And if they don't, they will find you an alternative. I have always found the staff helpful and never feel rushed. It has that thing called old fashioned service. They have a lovely range of wool, which I just can not resist, all at a great price. It is my go to place for net curtains, I know some prefer blinds now..... but not with my dog! He has them down and wrapped round his neck at the first knock of my door."

"a party of 27 of us visited on Saturday and the restaurant has really copied that well. a few of the waiting hired were a little vivid and brought out eating that they didn't know what it was, but apart from that it was great. eating was absolutely beautiful. 10/10. the portions are enormous! I had a pasta meal to begin and it was huge, and had filet steak in blue cheese sauce for my head and it was one of the best filets steaks I ever had. I couldn't finish my chips and by the side that came with him when I was pogged by the huge starter ol. the next time I'm back in Scarborough, I'll pay you another one."
