"It's a hidden gem in some ways as it has a big garden perfect for sunny days. It has potential. Wish it had a bit more atmosphare, maybe some flowers as it was pretty much just fence and tables. Only came for food, so I cannot comment on the hotel part. The food sadly needs some improvements. The breadcrumb coating on the meat was old, or the oil was old. My partner said that the meat was fresh, though. The prawn skewers were just a few cooked prawns on a plate with some red cabbage, a few bits of salad, and dressing. They weren't skewers that the menu suggested. Halummi dish was tasty, although the guacamole was inside the uncooked hard green pepper (half of the pepper), which was a bit hard to eat as raw. Drinks were good and the service was very nice, hence 4 stars."

We had a lovely afternoon tea there for 10 people. Service was good and the sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely. Thank you so much.

Nice pub, Elton John tribute was great, really hard to pay the bill. Quite some confusion between the staff inside and the staff outside.

Don't bother eating at Perch just go here. The service was great and the food way better than expected. 6 of us arrived and everything great with zero complaints. Beth and the team were very friendly and helpful. Will come again, thanks!

Came across this lovely pub on our way home from holiday. Four of us had a variety of dishes for breakfast all of which were great, very tasty and good portions. My husband particularly enjoyed the big beach breakfast. Very friendly host, thank you

Over priced, discusting breakfast, 2 sat down 30mins between both being served stale food red hot plates which kept cooking everything. never ever again. The rooms need deep cleaning, no parking, very noisy with traffic. Go to Worthing is my advice

Myself my partner Mandy just had the most wonderful Sunday Roast, Apple Pie Custard followed by a Caribbean Coffee at The Beach. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to frequent right on our doorstep, Andy, Fiona all the staff are always so pleasant attentive, we both thoroughly recommend The Beach, always a 5 Star experience.

The location is what sells this place. Right next to the beach which we loved. No parking however we had to pay and display £4 for 12 hours. Breakfast isn't included but that's okay because you can have it there for small extra charge or walk across to the perch cafe which is beautiful and right next to the sea. Bathroom smelt a bit like mold and the room is right next to a main round about so gets busy during the day corsing alot of noise.

My Birthday today and i wanted afternoon tea. Spent most of day trying to find one and gave up. I had heard great things about roast here so gave a go. I had chicken bf had beef. I really really enjoyed it and im fussy. Asked for my gravy on side but came out with gravy over. She apologised and got a another roast straight away. It was hot which is important for me. More carrots would have been great as so nice. Prosecco good too. Highly recommend

"I would first like to start out by saying that this is a gorgeous little cafe, with very friendly staff and great options for everyone. I have been eating at The Orchard for a couple of years, and have loved it. I am plant based, and have always found their vegan options to be brilliant! However, last week I accidentally ate meat for the first time in 6 years due to fault of the chef. Twice in a row, I have visited and ordered a vegan) seitan Reuben sandwich, and have been served the real meat version instead, which I believe contains corned beef traditionally. Luckily for me, the first time this happened, the waitress noticed before I could even eat any, and they replaced it quickly. I understand these things do happen, and am a big believer in second chances, so I went back recently. I ordered the same sandwich, and took 3 mouthfuls before realising something tasted unfamiliar, so I checked inside and found real meat. I was devastated when I realised, and so was the waitress and manager. The manager refunded our total bill, and was incredibly apologetic and mortified that it had happened. I know this wasn't any fault of the front of house staff they listened carefully. I feel like I can't go back, unfortunately, as I can't risk eating meat again. And I'm really sad that's the case, because this was one of my favourite spots to eat and I'll miss it so, so much!! I hate to rate a small business poorly, but I really felt I needed to warn any non meat eaters, as I can only imagine how much more devastating it would be if this happened to someone that gave up meat for religious or allergy reasons. If you eat meat then there's no need to worry, as this place is fantastic otherwise. If the cafe replaces their chef then I would love to come back one day... :"
