Beach House - Carta

Just had a great lunch at the beach house cafe I would definitely recommend. Food was great with good service

Visited yesterday would have been nice to have been advised of drinks promotion. Only realised when I went to the toilet flyer upstairs but nothing on the bar. Disappointing,mentioned to staff who didn’t really care. Ver carta

The girl and boy behin the bar were so good last night we came back this evening and were so happy to see them both again! They were both friendly, attentive and welcoming, happy to have a chat and advise us on drinks choices and the offers and events they have going on in the week! A real credit to the business and we will definitely be returning!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and decided to stop at the beach house after it was recommended by someobe at the hotel. A lovely lady welcomed us at the door then took our order at the table. We had 2 gluten free burgers wich were delicious, the chips were the best part, lovely and Crispy. Currently sampling the bar :P The atmosphere is happy and welcoming and the staff were very professional. 10/10.

Came for my son’s birthday, 10 of us, different ages so different tastes. Had a great time, Ebs and the rest of the staff really looked after us. The food was incredible, the Chicken Katsu Burger and the Lamb Burgers in particular where next level but all the food was great, everyone had clean plates! Superb beers on draught and cocktails too, the soundtrack was cool too, real cool atmosphere. If it wasn’t a Monday night could have been dangerous Ver carta

As a local, I used to visit this place frequently, but won't be again! We went there yesterday and were surprised to see how much the prices had increased and are now as expensive as a nice restaurant, however this is more of a café. We ordered some food, and the menu, which used to be far more interesting, has changed. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was very small with loads of batter, so paid a lot for a large plate of chips and a small piece of fish! Very unimpressed, and won't be back and my partner felt the same about his dish. Luckily there are other far nicer, better value places nearby!

Came in last Wednesday evening for dinner after work with some friends and had such a lovely time. I had the caesar salad and my friends made use of the burger deal and the food was absolutely divine (they went as far to say it’s the best burgers they’ve ever had well done chef! Also would like to note the excellent service by the two girls on waiting/bar duty. The restaurant was completely packed out but they were running around tirelessly ensuring every table was fully catered for, checked on and made to feel genuinely cared about despite there only being the two of them cleaning, taking plates and manning the bar. Having worked in the hospitality industry myself I know this is no easy tas...

I seem to have added this on another account so I'm copying it here and will close the other one I hadn't motivated to do a review since the last time we were at Beach House, which I think in itself says something. We've eaten out a lot, just not been inspired enough to do any reviews! Still awesome, the menu is mimimal but why offer pages and pages of options when you've perfect the popular dishes and your are limited in kitchen space. The burgers are great, not preform frozen discs but fresh and actually in the same food group as steak. Chips are great tripple cooked and fresh for every order. Nice simple decor and local artists work available to buy from the walls. The kids are always hap... Ver carta
