great service, good food and the drinks were wonderful. they have a great lunch with my friend and would definitely go back. the people are so good.

We loved our visit here as a family the coffee was very well made- perfectly textured milk and the food was lovely. Childrens portion size was massive

Come here often as a family, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Only downside is that I think the menu could do with a freshen up. Needs a change, as when you come to eat here once or twice a week, the food can get a bit boring, as they don’t change the menu that often.

We have been coming to Bear for ages and always have a great time. They do delicious lunches and cakes. Then later on a Friday and Saturday they serve yummy pizza. I feel very comfortable there with my baby and dog. The staff are friendly, often saying hello to our dog. It has a nice calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for coffee and cocktails.

what a fantastic breakfast/running we had here today! and such a beautiful building! They provide excellent for vegetarian and carnivores alike! compliments to the cook! we all really enjoyed our brunch and even later went back for more tea and cake, which was also very beautiful! the tee was especially well served with real tee leaves. I will come back in any case and will come back in the future!

a pleasant experience overall. with a few things to consider. an inviting/informative input would be appreciated. coffee, flat white was something from the same weight. it was a shot like too long. shakshuka was a big, though sans butter for the sourded. angry mac was great, but needed something. easy on the boring side. I think maybe the “angry Mayo” was a bit over at this opportunity, it’s premium. a light sweet this soße would have differentiated this meal from the average brioche-bound burger. a great experience anyway. highly recommended.

Lovely little place in Stone Town centre. I was looking for a dog friendly place for lunch as we were walking with my pup and came across the bear. Boy am I glad we decided to give it a go! Lovely loose leaf tea and my friend had a tasty iced tea. Our lunches were very tasty and not at all what I expected. I had the Potato Bennie and my friend had the Revival Bowl, of course we had to taste each others and both were very tasty They offered a bowl of water for the dog but forgot to bring it over, not a big deal as I had some of my own for him. Easy to order from the QR code on the table and quick service. Really enjoyed our meal and will be visiting again to try the other options

This place is a really nice atmosphere and the staff that we dealt with all seem helpful. There’s a decent selection of drinks and although the menu not huge there’s more than enough to choose from. My average rating is because although my meal came with fries that I asked to have the chilli mayo added what actually got added was a second portion of fries with the mayo at a cost of £5. Secondly I had steak and eggs and although I knew the steak wouldn’t be roasting hot as I had it rare I didn’t expect the eggs to be cold too and I mean cooold. The problem is I was too hungry to grab a member of staff and we pay before the food comes so I never knew if the feedback got back to the chef and if...

I always love eating here grabbing a coffee. I’ve been several times it’s one of my favourite places to eat. The food is always freshly prepared with good quality ingredients fairly priced with some great food combinations. The coffee is great but so are the cocktails on the late menu. Smoothies are also really tasty! I highly recommend the tater tots the vegetarian breakfast on the menu. But all of the food I have ordered has always been fresh, well made tasted great.
