Lovely food and great staff, but when we went there weren't many diners and there is a lingering smell of smoke in the restaurant. However, would really recommend it for a good value curry and also as a takeaway.

bengal bertie’s is a warm and welcoming restaurant. the waiters are fast and attentive. I had chickenska tandoori and it was probably the best I ever had! bengal bertie’s has everything they want from a restaurant; great service, great food and great prices.

excellent eating. the stands allow a very private meal with a friend where they can relax without being on the next table. the Vindaloo chicken was great, like the cobra that flushed it down! the plundering is aromatic instead of the dead, which are usually served elsewhere. Ver carta

this is the Indian restaurant I was looking for! great eating and good atmosphere. we had great help(maybe we had luck and visited this place during the excellent layer,) which gave us a proper consultation about the spiciness and every ingredient in the meal we ordered. great price!

We tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I'm so glad we did it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and not greasy at all like some takeaways can be. What's also great is you can choose the heat of your food which is good for the kids as they both love the same dish but one spicy and one not! I just wish we had found it sooner.

Absolutely brilliant place. Been going here regularly since I moved to Archway Road in 2013. Never had anything less than an exceptional meal all the specials are fantastic. Plus you always get a friendly welcome and great service. I've probably taken at least thirty different friends and colleagues on different occasions here over the years all have loved it.
