"A wonderful café and deli that offers a variety of unique teas, coffees, salad dressings, sauces, wines, and all your deli essentials. We had a fantastic lunch with delicious tea and coffee, and ended up purchasing a few items to take home. If we lived nearby or were staying close by, we would have left with bags filled to the top with their olives, sliced meats, and cheeses. The staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere, complete with Tamla Motown music, was delightful. Kudos to everyone involved!"

Called in for a coffee to kill some time and found out its £3.50 for a sausage roll to eat in , to take out its only £1.00. Ridiculous profiteering.

By far the best sandwich shop in Whitchurch! I go here quite often and the ladies behind the counter are wonderful and very friendly and chatty! Would recommend

We stopped in for lunch and both ordered toasted sandwiches. The bread was excellent quality and the portions were generous. You could even share one sandwich for a light meal. The other dishes we saw looked delicious as well. Definitely worth a visit.

What a wonderful Delli. Everything you need from the moment you step in. The food is scrumptious the staff are always friendly and helpful what ever the weather. Lunch yesterday was ham salad with bakery bread and smoked salmon open sandwich. Both were gorgeous. MickH

We went into this coffee shop with the aim to have a relaxing coffee ,cake and chat .No chance of that because you are so crammed in its impossible to feel comfortable so we left. I feel they need to move a few tables out but of course they won't. Pushchairs and wheelchair users don't even bother

We love coming to Benjamins and always have a superb meal. We had to wait a couple of minutes for a table to become free but we were soon tucking into our lunch. A delicious leek potato soup and homemade quiche. The staff as always were fantastic. Such a lovely little deli. We bought a hamper on our way out which looked great. Thank you for another super visit.

"Beautifull hotel, I guess one can call it trendy , but I just don 't understand how they can justify the price £130/night and that most of the time will go to £160 as they run out of entry level ones. So I guess the answer is there because people pay for it! But let 's just make some relevant comparisons Birmingham Grand literally in the heart of the city, brand new, 5* hotel, with all recently decorated rooms to the highest standard is £135 15 for breakfast. Needless to say rooms are air conditioned, fully equipped and genuinelly very posh. Hotel has lifts, has porters and the service is top notch. The Lion is barelly 4* just for trendiness alone, but the actual quality of furnishing is closer to 3*, has no lift and you will be lugging your bags up and down mutiple flights of stairs (and I mean multiple like 8 going up and down) trought narrow corridors to mediocre room (nothing wrong with it just mediocre) which isn 't even air conditioned. Sorry, I just don 't get it. That said restaurant is good fully fine dining if you are into it. Althought in my oppinion it doesn 't fit into the rest of the hotel. So it is ~3.5* hotel which is very youghtfull and trendy and then you get 5* fine dining with very tiny portions for the dinner (which is not criticism of restaurant, it is very good on it 's own). In conclussion I just don 't get what niche this hotel is filling, who stays there and why. The price for the rooms should be £75 95 tops. Shreesbury is not exactly prime tourists destination either (at least shouldn 't). But it seems it is working out for them, I just would not recommend it, I would not stay in it again and it is definatelly not worth the price. Neither in isolation, nor in comparison."
