"To be honest, I can't believe I never wrote a review for this place. I lived here for 5 years and getting fresh fish was always so hard because (as I find out), Germans are not really in seafood. But I'm digressing... for... starters, this sushi place is a chain restaurant. There are probably 3 of them in town, but this is the largest in size. It is also the one FARTHEST away from all tourists, unless you are on the way to the football stadium. It's more in a neighborhood. The other 2 locations are located in tourist areas. I would reach this most because it was close to my work hotel, the Ameron Hotel Regent. The fish is always fresh and everything tastes good. I ordered everything and didn't hate anything. The menus at all 3 locations are the same, except sometimes the specials are different. This is the best place in town for sushi and that says a lot for a city that does not eat fish. Is it with a REAL Sushi place in Japan....no. But for a small town like this it's not bad. At least it is also the best price and cleanest (this goes for all 3 locations). The service can be a big day, bad others. Even if they have an English menu, the service will improve considerably if you know German (again, for all 3 locations). I find at this point, the service is great when you order to go. But then I was normal again and I think they had to know who I was on the phone. If you do not speak German, I would advise you to read your menu first online (it is in German with pictures), so you have an idea what to order. I love all the special roles they call Sushi out. If you order any sauces on the site, it is extra. This is a German thing, not only this place... so don't be shocked or annoyed. It's just what they're doing here. I need it over time. Check out the other locations. If you long sushi and happen to be in Cologne, go to a Bento Box."

Every time I have eaten here the food is delicious! There is so much to choose from, more than just sushi as the menu says. It's affordable and has something for everyone, including the kids. Love this place and it's relaxed vibe! Ver carta

Good looking place with a beautiful interior design, they only had menus in German, but the friendly waiter thankfully Spanish to help us, we ordered the salmon teriyaki and a sushi box that were both very tasty and fresh. A good place.

good sushi! we go from time to time or we order to house (last about 60 minutes. I find the location good, even if it is located directly on the main road (aachener road). you can reach them well with that. in the summer they can sit on a small terrace outside and drink a delicious sweet to sushi. in any case, nothing is wrong here: but there is a star trigger because it is a bit expensive. gives cheaper sushi in cum, but always worth a visit!

Hello, first of all, I would like to inform you that our reservation did not seem to have arrived. We were not on their schedule. The reservation was due to a birthday party. The service is not professional and very friendly. The lamp above the table had failed only after repeated attempts. Since we have eaten several times in Pento Box because it tastes very tasty and we have also reserved only that for our children, I would like to say that the staff needed some training. The dishes were very delicious.

The Bento Box called us to the New Year's Eve at 13:30, that our table reservation at 19:00 cannot be noticed as it would have been until 17:00. Why then even a reservation was possible, you could not explain. There was nothing about the changed opening time. You told us we could eat a joke at 3:00. Alternatively, I asked if we could deliver food, but our address was too far for the delivery service. We should have picked it up. This makes the Bento Box for us unfortunately as a restaurant selection!!! Such a devastating behavior is not possible!

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
