Bexter's Tea Room - Carta

Recently visited Bexters for lunch, what a quaint little cafe, excellent food and lovely staff! Will be returning

Not visited for a year and forgot how nice it was , great fresh sandwiches with Jule and the team very friendly and helpful.

Lovely relaxing venue very helpful staff beautiful cup of tea and hubby said it was one of the best coffee he had will definitely call again Ver carta

It's the staff that make this place THE place to drop in for a snack. Of particular mention is Gill who always makes you feel extremely welcome!!

Several of us met here for lunch. We have now been a couple of times and find the food is fresh and well presented, staff are lovely and the cafe is very clean. We will be back.

Visited Stokesley today for the first time, Bexters Tea Rooms looked inviting and wewere not disappointed, food amazing, lovely friendly staff with one lady going far and above to help people's every need. Well done to you all, especially the hugs Ver carta

Baxter’s is a small but friendly place to catch up with friends. The staff are brilliant.... always welcoming and efficient. The coffee is good and the scones and cakes are fresh and delicious.It is always busy and occasionally it is difficult to get a table.

Nice waitress seated us in the window, gave us menus and said I’ll be back in a few minutes, 10 minutes later no return, another waitress proceeded to chat to an obvious friend who had come in after us, two other couples were also seated after us, the nice waitress returned and proceeded to take orders from persons around us then walked off in to the kitchen, at which time we decided we’d been ignored long enough !! Head over to the fish n chip diner, better value for money, much better service

Very small portions for the price and we were asked to pay before receiving our order. My mother ordered panini which turned out to be baguette, barely toasted, I ordered quiche, which was half the size I would expect for the price. Both of our plates had a spoonful of green salad and a tiny portion of coleslaw. Most of the plates were covered in crisps, which neither of us like and these were of poor quality. My 'Mediterranean quiche ' was runny and did not warrant the £8 price. The doors were open, causing a draught. The waitress was not particularly pleasant or helpful. Not a pleasant experience. We won 't be going there again. Ver carta
