"We had dinner here because they advertised pfifferlinge mushrooms. My wife's dish of these mushrooms was quite good, but mine left something to be desired (I had a Schweinehaxe [roasted pigs knuckles] which came floating in a brown gravy that I didn't care for). I've...had Schweinehaxe many times before but never had I had any type of gravy with it. The gravy detracted from the meal so much so that I didn't eat the sauerkraut and potatoes (which were soaked in the gravy) and ate the pigs knuckle on a separate plate. The service was OK, but started out to be surly (it improved). Only because of my wife's meal do I give this a 3 rating based on my meal it would have received only a 2 !"

Good service Excellent food and big portions for reasonable prices! The waitress checked with us how much time we wanted between the dishes

Had schnitzel and pasta. Both were good and food arrived quickly. Toilets were clean and waiters attentive. Very near to the square and we enjoyed it

Good service, good food (wurst und bier), good atmosphere, well suited for English speaking diners. I recommend the Feldschösschen Rubin local beer, but many local Dresden beers are great! Ver carta

This place is part of the Hilton so we were surprised to be hurried along as the kitchen was closing! The service was good as was the food, would have been even better if we did not feel rushed.

Stopped for lunch. Nice outdoor location. Close to everything. Reasonably priced. Had Thurlinger Bratwurst(sausage) and Scwarzbier Gulash(a typical goulash with even more typical sides) and 2 Radeberger(beer) Food was good. Portions were fine. Service was friendly. Ver carta

Location is lovely should could have been so much better.... Waiting staff were jaded and uninterested (the only time they were remotely friendly was in asking me if I wanted to leave a tip!!! . Food was below average; my fries had been re cooked...about 3 times, my friends dish was average. Beer was nice.

Excellent restaurant located in the Hilton, where we were staying. Our server was especially helpful and friendly. The menu had English translations, which was very helpful, however, our server also made sure we would be happy with our food, wine and beer. We definitely were!...Although there were quite a few tables of people, it was not overly loud and we enjoyed our meal.

"Quite disappointed. The prices and past reviews made me believe this was going to be a fine dining experience to remember. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Atmosphere upon entry was awkward, with several waiters and waitresses (including the apparant hostess) passing us by multiple times before we were greeted and seated. After waiting 20 minutes to order our entry drinks we ordered a 4 course surprise menu containing meat and fish respectively, including a wine pairing menu. We were quite curious to see what variety of meats and fish choices the kitchen would come up with in their simplest of surprise menu's. Imagine our surprise when the first course was vegetarian! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy vegetarian meals, but thats everything we didnt order.. The second course, a clear beef soup, was very standard and boring. And I must admit the main course iberico ham with a good pairing red wine was ok. My partners fish main course (the only one of 3, after ordering for a 3 course fish surprise menu) wasnt interesting at all, and had a weird wine choice. Sadly the last course was again mediocre as the full sweet dessert wine overruled the sort of sweet dessert. After the second course the staff stopped asking how the food was, as if they knew it wasnt up to Gault Millau standards. Ordering drinks after dessert was only possible by walking up to the bar ourselves, so no thanks. Even the bill we had to go fetch ourselves at the bar. Even here the staff didnt even dare ask how everything was and if we enjoyed our dinner. All in all: a lot of potential but overall disappointing. Would not recommend"
