"Always enjoyed Bill’s but had only ever gone at lunch time. A group of 4 of us booked for dinner on my recommendation. Unfortunately I don’t think my companions were that impressed! The majority of the team were friendly and very busy. An extra guest turned up for our table the restaurant manager (I assume) was very accommodating and was friendly and attentive all night (blonde hair and smiley). However the wait for the food and drinks to be served was far longer than we expected, with one of our guests not receiving her meal until around 10mins after we’d got ours. Our food was OK but not as good as I’ve had at Bills before. The burgers were dry and solid. The lobster and seafood linguine was a red mush. However the calamari starter was perfect! All in all, I’d go back for lunch service but not dinner."

Menu has changed, I could not find anything I really wanted as an evening meal . Used to be more varied .

Breakfast Brunch was lovely. Good portions and great choices for all. Prices a little expensive but would only go as a treat.

Online menu different from restaurant menu. Main dish was chicken which was very dry. Did not enjoy and left more than half. Service and staff were great

Staff were friendly enough but white wine was warm and had to ask three times for ice. Child's pasta had a strange taste and wasn't edible. The rest of the meal was ok. Bills is usually much better than this..

My daughter I loved the evening. She chose the seafood linguine said it was, the best meal she'd eaten since our trip to Maderia. We went 5 years ago!! I particularly enjoyed the helpful and friendly service, very personal rather than corporate, which I like. We'll definitely go back when we're next in Leicester.

Whilst not a 5 star restaurant, the service received from the second we walked through the door to the second we left, was outstanding,,,, I wish i could give the service an additional service, Bryony, you are a credit to your company. Menu has something for everyone and is cooked to perfection. Whilst its not a cheap night out, we all left full and very happy, thank you Bills of Leicester

The staff are absolutely incredible they really go above and beyond! I’d employ them all! We were seated straight the way and offered drinks immediately. The food came out within 15 minutes, I can only describe it as delicious, (Bill Big Breakfast) all cooked to the highest standard. Over all an excellent experience however it’s not cheap but that’s probably down to the quality of the food prepared. Definitely will be a returning customer
