"Very small, but very fine: super friendly, everything was explained to us with patience. Again and again, we were asked if we were asking and if everything was okay. Ambience is great! Unfortunately, it is a little hidden we have a little used to find it. Second row quasi. The only minus point I forgive is the portion size. So I personally found them very small. Tastefully good. My personal highlight was the cake! Rarely eaten a delicious cake as dessert. All in all highly recommended!!!"

"Wir besuchten "Marcel's" spontan am Montagabend. Das Ambiente im Restaurant bzw. die Einrichtung lässt erst mal nicht erahnen wie lecker es ist. Es gab eingelegte Oliven mit Brot und Dip zur Vorspeise. Zum Hauptgang einmal die Champignon Cappucino Suppe mit schwarzem Trüffel und einmal die Schweinefilet-Medaillons in Champignonrahm, Salat und alternativ Pommes statt Pappadelle. Das Essen und das Personal ist ausgezeichnet. Zum Dessert bestellten wir uns dann noch die Trilogie von Marcels (Creme Brûlé, Panna Cotta, Mousse au Chocolat). Einfach nur der HAMMER!!!!!Wir kommen gerne wieder :-) und bedanken uns für das leckere Essen *daumen hoch*"

"During a stop in Trier I dined at this tapas based restaurant that is located in the heart of the main walkway. Reservations are highly recommended as it appears to get busy sought after amongst a strong following of guests . I was there for a mid day lunch and the Menu is a great representation of tapas dishes . I chose a trio of dishes. Recommended to get at least three tapas per person to have the full experience of various flavors . Black beluga lentil salad is a must . New favorite legume for me ! Shrimp were perfectly cooked and sardines are just right and not overpowering. Side portion of bread homemade aioli take the dishes to another level by adding extra flavors . Restaurant has excellent selection of wines, and owners can help recommend a pairing based on flavor profiles . They were very kind to let me sample 3 wines before selecting my final choice of a Barahonda Barrica Syrah that complemented the entire meal perfectly . Quality of food is top , attention to details, Service was great and owners extremely friendly and kind . Restaurant has a selection of of products for purchase including wines. A real gem for the city 100% I Will be coming back next time I am in the area ."

"Meine Frau und ich gehen so 2-3 mal im Monat zum Frankenturm. Quasi Stammgäste. Hier gibt es gutes Essen und als Krönung zum Schluss immer eine Grappa aufs Haus.Vor 3 Wochen nicht mehr. Beim Personal gab es Wechsel. Nicht schlimm, vielleicht vergessen.Gestern war ich ohne meine Frau dort. Beim Bezahlen merkte ich, dass wieder jeder Gast gefragt wurde wegen der Grappa.........ausser mir. Ich wurde sogar ignoriert, was daran zu erkennen war, dass der Kellner immer den anderen Durchgang benutzte.Tut mir leid, das wars dann. Kunde 2. Klasse kann ich überall werden."

"Très bel emplacement sur une des places de la jolie ville de Trèves, ce restaurant propose des plats italiens assez classiques mais de bonne qualité. En été, la grande terrasse vous assure d'une ambiance "vacances". Le service est un peu lent, mais compte tenu de la rotation des clients, cela se comprend facilement. Personnel très jeune et sympathique (certainement des étudiants méritants à cette période de l'année)."
