called on the way to home of lakes to dinner, staff very welcoming, dog was welcome in the lounge or bar that was eating amazing, all enjoyed their meal. would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to go back.

Unassuming pub, but highly recommended by local farmer we met on a walk. Standard pub fare, but all four of us chose different meals, and all four of us highly rated their dishes. Delicious. we called for food on our trip from dufton to edale. the place was busy, but the beautiful young lady behind the bar found us a table was very friendly and helpful. an equally beautiful young lady served our food, which was thanks to them both, and all the kitchen staff, we had an excellent meal and went on our way very recommended. Nice pub, lots of country character but on the high street. We chose it due to proximity and more importantly, it was pet friendly. Nice traditional decor and the staff were friendly enough. The food was a little over priced for the quality but it was overall a nice evening. Parking: Lots of spaces but I think easier to find later in the day as it's on the high street. Tonight, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The rump steak was cooked perfectly and topped with a delicious Stilton garlic sauce. I also tried the beef and mushroom burger with Stilton garlic, which was absolutely scrumptious. The service was friendly and overall we would rate our experience a 10/10. We were pleased with the ample parking available outside and appreciated that the restaurant is dog-friendly. The price per person was between £10-£20. The food quality received a perfect score of 5.
