Quite often drop in here for drinks with friends after work. The staff are always lovely and friendly and the boss Steve is an excellent kisser. Food is good too...We really do recommend this place. Enjoy.

Often visit this lovely little pub in Benton. Free pool all day Monday, a lovely glass or two of merlot and a catch up with friends. I heard there was a new chef onsite today (Alex). Tried the katsu curry, It was lovely. Ill be...back again very soon.

Been back as the my previous visit was lovely brought my partner along and had we both had fish and chips the food was delicious and served promptly, what great value for £12 we had a great time and the desserts afterwards were amazing sorry...we were awkward about the custard and thanks to the chef ‍ Once again we will be back

many thanks for their osterhasenparty. Yes, it was loud and a bit crazy, but my young loved it. I take off my hat from the person who was in the heat with all the children who visited and... how they danced with them all. we had also eaten and the meals were before the place alabama burgers were to die. thanks for a great afternoon.

Popped into the Black Bull just before Christmas, although busy was made welcome by warm and friendly staff. Although I did not have food on this occasion, I have in the past and its always been excellent and good value for money. This is a...nice pub and is highly recommended for a few drinks around the Benton area. 5/5. Keep up the good work!

Before Christmas I took a party of 16 and the food was very good value, well presented and cooked to perfection. Three of us have been for pensioners 3 courses £6.99. I had mac cheese, it came with one lettuce leaf and a slice...of undercooked garlic bread, the mac cheese was lukewarm and congealed and the portion was the size of one heaped serving spoon. My friends had fish chips and peas.About 10 chips, fish the size of a large fish finger and dried out microwaved garden peas. Fruit crumble dessert was lovely but needed more custard.

I absolutely love this pub and it’s a 10 min walk for me, I’ve been going here for 20 yrs, seen all the changes to the pub and staff, and to date it has the nicest manager Steve so far, who runs a tight ship,...and has a wonderful crew who support him. All the staff are really friendly, and the party’s they put on for adults and kids are always amazing. I especially love the Halloween parties As does my 8yr old daughter. Over the covid period they went above and beyond to keep on pulling us them pints, sitting under canvas with coats on in the car park, still Serving with a smile. It’s a lovely pub just to drop in, sit back and chill. Keep up the great work

came today like somewhere new with the family. the place was empty, hardly anyone there, and eating took almost 1 hour to come; the drinks came 45 minutes before eating and were so flat (it was probably coca cola to be). the personal. was annoying and blunt, we didn't get an apologies for waiting until we complained. the food came finally and the part was disgraceful for the price that was eating cold and could say that it sat there and microwaves and there was food lacking in a meal. my 7-year-old nephew literally spilled his huh and refused to eat it, it was so bad. I finished the complaint and the manager immediately gave me a refund that shows that this must happen often. personally, I h...

we have booked for tee with ostern bunny and what a disappointment. When we arrived, we met by a very abrupt worker who told us that it did not begin until 4pm. we said that only children could sit at the table. we had a... year with us, which we couldn't leave alone. there were handicrafts on the table for children with much glitter. the glitter was over when children had finished the craft. the children played a game (musical statues). my grandson was standing in the last two, but the price was given to other children. I asked workers how this happened, she was shroff and didn't know. explain to a 5 year old who had won, but he didn't. the whole facility was a farce .es did not give any or...
