We had a wonderful dining experience. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including items from the specials board. The service from the staff was attentive and just right. We have already made a reservation to dine there again.

Booked a table for 5, given a table size for 4. Luckily one of our party did not turn up because there was no room for the 5 th person. The food was disappointing, having eaten there several times. The service was excellent, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Recent dinner with boyfriend and whilst outside was bitter cold outside the fire was not lit inside. Our order came out totally wrong and tasted average. But the staff were outstanding, gave us free deserts and service was very good so I would go back but maybe not for a while. Ver carta

The food was excellent. However, we felt that the starter could have included more bread, as one piece was not enough to share. The service was good with friendly staff. The prices were reasonable and offered good value for money. We all enjoyed our meals and would certainly return in the future.

Booked table the day before-waited 30 mins for it when we got there ! They had run out of Sunday roast dinners although out table was booked for 3.15pm and we were advised they might run out, ordered the burgers at around £12 each thinking they would be something special at that price but they were awful-burgers we’re like cardboard ! no exaggeration) the crumble for sweet was burnt and rock hard ! Don’t go here !

We booked for Sunday lunch and were glad we did as the restaurant was very busy! We ordered roast lunches and a burger from the kids menu. Despite being very busy, the food arrived quickly and the service was good and attentive. The roast was HUGE! Massive variety of vegetables. It was a fair roast lunch not the best I’ve had but pleasant and the price was reasonable at £12.95. There was absolutely no room for pudding after the epic roast but the menu looked good. Coffee was delicious. There was a good range of kids meals, something for everyone. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere and the surroundings/views.
