"Ignore the food serving times on their website, food had stopped at 2120 not the advertised 2200 so I disapointedly went hungry. Bar surface very sticky dirty for the handful of customers they had on a quiet Monday night. Garden is a mish mash of junk also shuts at 2120. They replied to my review asking me to contact them. Your opportunity to respond was while I was there, not after, just to salvage any reputation you had. My review stands."

Been here before but too noisy for an old man on a Saturday night. Good beer but my ears are ringing. Nice beer garden.

Stopped for a drink only on Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't that busy. Pint of beer was surprisingly expensive,£6.50 for a pint. Dog friendly but only until 8pm (even in the garden)

Great atmosphere, even though the pub was busy the bartenders were quick to get your order in. Food came out quick and was delicious, especially the chicken wings! 2 pints and platter to share under £30

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend, and sat in the pub garden huts which were lovely. Food was great as well as the service from the bartenders- Naomi was amazing! Will be coming back for more burgers

Love it here! I always visit the arms when I visit st.albans. The beer garden is perfect, we sat in one of the cabins. Staff are friendly, busy vibrant pub with a great choice of drinks and a great mix of people x Ver carta

I was really impressed the Blacksmith Arms in St Albans town centre ,they seem to have achieved the perfect balance between a traditional pub and a modern bar with a comfortable and.friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect destination for a big night out with friends.

An absolute charming pub. Dogs welcome. Girl (Beth I believe)with long blonde hair in ponytail was absolutely delightful. Not only did she make us and our dog very extremely welcome but watched her with other customers (one disabled) and she was so helpful and attentive. Food was also fabulous. We will certainly be back. Thank you and keep up the great work.
