We've been here a few times and spent Easter Sunday 2018 enjoying their roast food and service was excellent. Thank you.

This is an excellent rural pub located in Clayworth, just a 15-minute drive from Retford or Bawtry. It embodies a charming, traditional atmosphere that has been successfully updated to a more contemporary style.

we had a good time here and it was amazing. the room was beautiful. the fide amazing, but the best part is the personal. we feel as welcome and as friends. thanks to the brand for the extra mile for us they are a star! they all see themselves soon x

This was our first visit to Blacksmiths at Clayworth. I would definately visit this fantastic resturant again and reccommend it to all my friends. The food was exceptional and the service complimented this. Superiour night with my partner on a date night. I am looking forward to booking again in the resturant. Went here for Sunday lunch with friends. The roast beef was excellent and plentiful, as were the veggies. The prawn cocktail starter a must try. Beautiful restaurant, a mix of traditional/ contemporary, with carpet on the floor to minimise noise, which is rare these days, but really makes a difference! Staff were very welcoming and pleasant also. Would highly recommend!

We cannot highly recommend this pub. The service was excellent and the newly renovated spaces created a beautiful atmosphere. The pub is small but cozy, and there was a high tea event happening while we were there, but it did not affect our experience at all. The manager was very attentive and the chef even sent out a complimentary vegan petit four that was delicious. The vegan menu was fantastic with a wide variety of options. The watermelon salad starter was delicious, as was the spelt risotto. The texture and flavor of the risotto were amazing, making it a great alternative to boring white rice.

We had our wedding reception at this venue on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 and had exclusive use of the entire space. From the initial booking to the day of the event, the team was incredible. The venue is beautifully designed and the food was exceptional, with many guests commenting that it was the best they have ever tasted. The waiting staff were extremely helpful and made sure we were taken care of all day and night. The front of house staff, including Brand and Elisha the event manager, went above and beyond in customer service and even arranged for some guests to be driven home for free.
