Blakes Restaurant - Carta

Great space....but very poor service. Food was good. Sat under speaker and virtually unable to speak. Just expected more.

i had not been to the hotel in a long time and re discovered the wine bar...i like it !!! it was very busy on a Friday night and that gave it an excellent atmospehere...will happily go back soon !

Ate at Blakes with some colleagues and we were all really impressed. I really loved the subdued lighting and atmosphere, the comfy seating, the excellent service and the delicious food. Definitely one of the top 3 of my restaurant experiences. Ver carta

Went there for dinner. We had a voucher, so first they made as if we did not reserve, then miraculously 'found ' our reservation. Staff were very friendly and actually talked to us, as we are not the rich stuck up customers they get all the time. All posh restaurants I 've been to will always offer bread, free of charge. Here, nothing! Not mind blowing, will spend money elsewhere

Lovely downstairs section you can visit for free. Rooms so small you can barely open the front door. I have been staying in Marriott hotels in London(and around the world) for 15 years. You cannot simply add chains like Autograph and Xenia and allow them to choose how to deal with premier Elite customers. They choose to ignore as it isn’t loyalty to ‘their’ hotel. This was confirmed to me tonight. I choose to move from Marriott as I feel they have lost their way...

The staff love it, no doubt considering a club vibe makes ignoring the clients easier, but, for those dining it is the closest to torture this side of the Middle East.Only come here if you are 60 years old but think you're 16. If you are the type of person who sits under the speaker in a club, and think that makes you cool. The kind of socially dysfunctional person who never talks to those you are spending the evening with. Tables turn over quickly as drained diners rush to leave. Food is not bad, but believe me you will be begging to leave. Fastest dinner we've had this year. Ver carta

What can I say apart from the excellent breakfast which I have had here often I am extremely impressed by the professionalism of Manuel and his colleagues Erica and Pietro. Dining alone isn't always the easiest of things to do, but I never feel awkward when I have breakfast at The Blakes Restaurant because I know I'm being looked after and the staff make every effort to ensure I'm happy. I very rarely leave reviews but I am always so impressed of the breakfast service that I had to leave this review. Thank you so Manuel for making my breakfast a cheerful one. A faultless evening at Blakes Hotel last night! A destination I've been meaning to visit for some time and with high expectations I was by no means let down. Everything from the gentle and warm welcome on arrival, the personal tour of the beautiful site and the way they made my guest and I felt throughout was truly wonderful. The service was simply fantastic and the food some of the most interesting and delicious we've ever tasted. I would highly recommend this hidden yet very special spot to all those seeking something different in London. I can't wait to come back and thank you team Blakes for an absolutely incredible night.

We eat out probably 150 nights per year due to business travel. Blake’s was one of the worst dining experiences in 5 years puts it in the bottom .1% for us. We were told after we sat down that they needed the table in 1:45 minutes. Actually not a problem. We ordered and the food came so fast we felt out of breath. The food was fine, not overly imaginative, but since the starters blended into the mains, who could tell the difference or judge the quality. We ordered a bottle of wine half way through the starters, the mains came out before the wine which we had to cancel. We we had our mains served to us less than 30 minutes after we initially sat down and that included 10 minutes of cocktails... Ver carta
