Ordered one portion of tenderloin and one rumpsteak medium done, both was raw. Sent the food back and received no form of apologies from the waiter. Very good baked potatoe , but unfortunately it does not save the meal. Do not recommend this place.

Luego de visita al Deutsche Museum nos hemos ido a comer a este restaurante. Esta muy bien ubicado frente a la estación central y posee una amplia terraza. La atención fue magnífica y la comida excelente, en especial el punto de la carne y las patatas. No me olvidaré de los ricos postres: tarta de manzana y el especial de chocolate. Recomendable.

We looked for a good place to eat good meat and was very disappointed as the meat (american tenderloin) was raw as shown in the picture, and without any taste. There were no gravy and the staff seemed like robots. They compensated for the meat by giving us the drinks for free, which was very professional. But it was a cold and not very tasty experience.

This was an awful experience! The food was moderate but our meal was spoilt by the service. We were left after our initial order was taken, never asked how things were and not offered any more drinks. When we paid our bill we were asked how we wanted to pay the tip. We didn’t really want to pay anything, and we’re left feeling awkward and uncomfortable when the waitress waited for the cash.

Excellent food, the steaks melted in your mouth and were perfectly cooked. Friendly and attentive service and good value for money. We didn’t feel rushed and went twice during our week’s stay! Dauphinois potatoes and fries both lovely and bread was gorgeous too. A good selection of wine and the pepper sauce was mouthwatering. Really glad we can across this place and would recommend to everyone! Choose the sirloin steak, we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

We we're skeptical about a steakhouse in Europe after having a very disappointing experience in France but the Block House served up an excellent Fillet and an almost equal Rib Eye. The salads were perfectly fresh with a wide variety of vegetables. But our server, Gigi, really made the meal. Her attentiveness and friendliness is unrivaled. When she answered questions, it was in a melodic tone letting you know she enjoyed her job and you as a customer. Overall, a wonderful experience.

I have been on Block House in different cities, and different locations, in Germany, that I don't even can remember them all. But they have one thing in common - Block House always delivers the best. I have actually never been disappointed at the quality.This time we took a beef tartar as a starter, and then the big tenderloin filet and the big sirloin steak. The meat was excellent cooked and the quality of the beef was also great. We finished with nice desserts and left very satisfied.A very good place, with good value for the money.
