"David Papi and his family provide a warm welcoming stay, a genuinely gracious host. We were in love with the family farm house restored with a love and passion only the Italian possess. We also fell in love with the story of Tommy the cat growing into maturity and braving the new world in front of him with a loving mamma waiting at home with food. I would love to return in the spring and eat outside, I would also order the tomahawk! Thank you Papi family xx"

"Ristorantino al centro del paese..piccolo ma molto accogliente e curato. Gentilissima sia la sig.ra in sala che la sig.ra cuoca.. antipasto di lago molto sfizioso e buono.. Come secondo la carpa in porchetta..davvero da provare..ben condita con un abbondante trito di odori e erbe aromatiche, gustosissima. "I visited this restaurant with my husband as it was close by. It’s situated in a small village and you enter the restaurant from the car park via the beautiful garden and lawn. We were shown into an area which was open but undercover. I ordered a starter of courgettes that were very thinly sliced and covered in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar and flavoured with thyme and basil. It was enormous but so good. My husband ordered the salad which again was substantial. We both ordered fillet steak, mine was with truffle and my husband’s came with a mustard and green pepper sauce. We weren’t asked how we’d like our steaks cooked but they came beautifully cooked and just how we like them. The vegetables were beautiful and we ate everything with gusto. Next came dessert and although I’m not a great lover of dessert I decided that I’d go for it and I’m so glad I did. I chose the meringue which was ice cream with white chocolate chips covered in crushed meringue and my husband chose the apple pastry which he said was delicious. This was all accompanied by a bottle of house white which was very drinkable. The bill was very reasonable and, as my husband absolutely loved this restaurant, he says we are definitely going back."
