"It took 30 minutes to receive our first drink, and about 45 minutes to place our food order. The food was mediocre at best, with my pizza being dry and only topped with pepperoni. After finishing our meal, our plates sat on the table for an hour before we decided to ask for the bill due to the slow service. Despite waiting over 45 minutes for a second round of drinks, the staff seemed indifferent and disorganized. The overall experience was chaotic and unprofessional, making it the worst restaurant experience I've had in many years. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs, especially when on holiday."

In a word, awful. Bacon like leather, sausage were meat pencils, black pudding hockey pucks, scrambled eggs that resembled dishwater the toast was the highlight of meal, on the plus side the service was outstanding.

The restaurant is no longer the peaceful and serene place it once was. It was loud and disorganized. We waited 90 minutes for our food only to be told that they were out of fish and chips. We left feeling very let down.

Situated on Panorama Road in Sandbanks, this café is the perfect spot for enjoying lunch, a quick snack, or afternoon tea. The staff is extremely welcoming and the café offers a cozy atmosphere just a stone's throw away from the water.

Party of 8 that came in for coffee and breakfast and was created with utter discrimination. Can’t work out of it is because we were normal middle class people or they were being racist but the treatment in here was disgusting I wouldn’t recommend at all. Ver carta

Not sure if this restaurant has changed it’s name since the last review but we popped in for lunch this week and it was great. Lovely homemade pizza’s and great salads on the menu lovely service from the staff. I would have lunch there again very happily.

Lazy Jacks is a refreshed restaurant located in a boat yard. Great decor with good food and wine options and sea glimpses. Like most restaurants they are clearly struggling with staff to provide a service standard reflected in the price of their food and drinks.

I went 5 years ago and had the most dreadful service awful attitude by a Scottish women clearly not wanting to be there. Gave it another chance as heard they had changed owners. No no no same attitude food service and totally over priced packet food. How they are still open is beyond me. Rick stein of le cafe around the corner is so much better. Please save your money Ver carta

Our first visit since it reopened as Lazy Jacks was on a Saturday evening. The place was buzzing with a much younger vibe than before and great new decor. It was warm so we sat out on the deck. Pizzas were excellent. The wait staff were great but my only criticism would be they were a bit run off their feet and could do with some help. As a result service was a little slower than it should be

This place made our recent holiday to Sandbanks. The weather was not in our favour but we stumbled across Lazy Jacks and loved it. The name is apt because the place has a relaxed feel but it's also a destination with a buzzy atmosphere. Somewhere we wanted to be. The food was excellent (superb fish and chips! and our experience was really made by the wonderful Emma, who looked after us beautifully. Thank you!

"Booked a table of 5 for my birthday dinner. We were promptly seated then immediately asked for drinks orders before even being offered a drinks menu or water. After we had ordered drinks we were being rushed into ordering some food, every two minutes different waiters coming and asking if we are ready to order (at least 7 times). After we did order and the food was brought out, we were then just forgotten about and nobody came over anymore to check if we needed any more drinks (4 out of 5 glasses were empty) or if the food was ok. (It was- but no one checked). After we had finished dining, we still had empty glasses and had to wait 20+ minutes until we eventually stopped a waiter walking past and asked if we could order more drinks. The drinks then took another 15 minutes to come. It was also very disappointing that although we had mentioned on the booking itself that it was for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of this (I have been before and had received a plate with ‘happy birthday’ written on it in some kind of sauce with a sparkler). My sister even went to ask the woman working on the front desk and received a standoffish attitude back saying no. When the £235 bill came, it even listed ‘birthday plate £0.00’ on it!!! That really let the evening down. The interactions with the staff themselves were great, they were very polite and personable but the actual level of service of being rushed to order and then totally forgotten about really dampened what could have been a fantastic evening."
