Bolster Moor Coffee Shop

After finding this restaurant on YouTube, we decided to stop by on our way to York. It exceeded our expectations - the staff were friendly and the food was delicious.

I went for lunch and the restaurant was very busy. The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and smiling. I also visited the farm shop where the staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything is of high quality.

Very ‘wet’ breakfast from combo of chopped tomato juices, mushroom juices and bean juices. Ruined any crispness of the rest of the items. Very poor presentation fried egg just plonked on top of the breakfast ‘soup’. Had drunk the hot hot drinks by the time the food arrived. Not impressed. Ver carta

We first went to Bolster moor after seeing on rate my takeaway on YouTube we have been several times since and just love it, service in the café very quick and waitresses very pleasant, the shop is amazing with so many great products, you really can't go wrong, we take all our visitors and everyone loves it.

Best breakfast we’ve ever had, the ladies on the pass were very efficient and food was out promptly and hot, and well presented. The only downfall the cutlery was empty, and when replenished still were some dirty ones. We will definitely visit again and hope the cutlery issue was a one off as the food was worth coming back to!

I really enjoyed the Yorkshire pudding filled with beef and onions, but I would have liked less meat and some vegetables on the side. I was disappointed that our table was not cleared after we finished our meal, even though there were staff available as it wasn't too busy. However, I would definitely come back again. Very disappointed after hearing such great things. Small vegetarian breakfast very disappointing, not good value for money. Toast rock hard. BLT served on a thick muffin/breadcake.... Very odd. Chips on children's meal, dry and hard, must have been kept warm for a long time. Table needed clearing, we were having coffee and cakes too and all our dirty plates (with food we had left) were on the table. Won't be visiting again....

Visited on a Sunday. Very disappointed. It was around 3pm and it closes at 4pm. When I went to order the cashier raised her eyes when I ordered hot food and then shouted to see if the kitchen would still cook it. How embarrassing! The food was not up to scratch as we have had before. We left at 3.50pm after being bothered by waitresses old and young who were hovering around waiting for us to depart. This seems to happen every weekend we go. So be warned everyone. So very sad. We are really put off going again and I love the shop

Disappointed. Came with my mother as a treat for her. We were hardly in the door when a staff member told us to go get a table number, then order. And that was understandable, she was just very abrupt. We ordered our food and drink. My cappuccino did not have foam, and was a latte, and left me quite disappointed. My sausage roll was only warm on the crust, and the meat was cold. When I went to get cutlery, there was only 1 knife, and it was used. Our waitress rolled her eyes at us, and didn’t seem like she cared, as she spilled my drink onto our table, then left without a word. Very expensive for very average.
