Went out for my birthday meal and I thought the food was lovely. Not cheap mind

Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Busy service when we visited but staff very efficient. Definitely recommend if you are ever in the area.

Best Indian restaurant in the city by a country mile. The standard of the food is so superior. I had a lamb saag and the meat was falling apart. Always great service, delicious food, and in such a perfect location. Every time I come home I’m sure to order from here.

We had a great first dining experience at Bombay Joe's. We have ordered takeout from there a few times before. The food was amazing, the restaurant was bustling, but the service was still friendly and quick. We didn't feel rushed at all. We will definitely be returning.

As always, the experience at this restaurant was fantastic. We have never had a subpar meal here. I highly recommend it. We were promptly seated and offered drinks immediately. The server also checked in on us and offered more drinks when our main course was served. We never had to flag down the server for anything. The service was excellent and we felt well taken care of.

100% disagree with the last two reviews. Always wonder if these people complain at the time to give the restaurant a chance to put it right or if they just jump straight on here…? We visited as a couple very recently. Absolutely epic! New to the area and found this little gem of a restaurant. Wonderful service, top quality food. I ordered the mixed platter for my main so much meat and all perfectly cooked. The service was great, very attentive and polite staff. We will be back!

In March 2024, I stopped by to order a takeout and noticed the multiple awards displayed on the walls, which raised my expectations for a top-notch meal. Unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered two chicken korma dishes with pilau rice and asked for extra cream in the sauce. The korma was disappointingly bland, lacking flavor and with a thin, watery sauce. The rice was decent but not as flavorful as what I've had at other restaurants. The total cost for the takeout came to nearly £30, making this a one-star meal overall.
