"Visited for lunch today 21/10/22 excellent value 2 meals for £11 49 . I had the fish and chips with mushy peas the batter and fish itself was beautifully cooked and very tasty . My daughter had the gammon egg and chips which she also really enjoyed. The Brass Monkey offer a wide selection of drinks ,my choice of the day was a Mango Lilys although all the usual favourites Guinness etc along with spirits are available. The Brass Monkey is a great choice either for a meal or a quick drink the staff are always friendly and Carol and Nicola will be quick to attend to your every need"

was a nice meal, front door left open, so eating cold quickly from the caught. took the list of drinks and put up to the first, paid bill but was short on the actual drink, if not pointed out. apart from that a very good night.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed. Plenty of seating, greeted warmly by staff and service was quick. Good selection of food available which was tasty and very good value for money. Will definitely be returning when next in town. Ver carta

I've been coming to the brass monkey for years on a regular basis. The food is always amazing and great value for money. The 241 cocktails are so GOOD!!! £6.49 for 2 long islands?! Amazing great atmosphere on a Saturday night and great for lunch midweek

The food is DELICIOUS and very filling , if you are dinning with friends or more than 2 people it's worth trying the small plates as a share 3 for £8.99 or 5 plates for £11.99. The service was very quick and we didn't have to wait long at all to get our food. Very pleasant and nice place to eat

Went there this morning with my wife and mother in law. My first ever visit. I was pleasantly surprised. Carol met us at the door and kindly advised us how to order and gave us a lovely table by the window. The menu was good. Great prices. Enjoyed our food and drinks. Good service. it was nice, I ordered the beef yorkie packaging and it was incredible. only that is the app with the option for not getting to do so so that they don't go to wasting, but that's nothing big. had a slight problem sitting at the place, as they did not know about my reservation, but there were tables that were so easily resolved. Thank you.

A while ago I left a negative review over some buffalo wings which were not very nice. This visit however more than made up for that. I tried the Carolina reaper wings.....wow! I thought I could eat any level of spiciness, I only managed three wings but they were perfect. I also had their fish and chips, this was seriously good and ranks in the top five I have ever eaten (and I'm 78) Plymouth born and bred. My wife had two starters which she said were delicious, thank you Brass Monkey, we will be back
