"Uber over to Bartrès, a few miles from the crowds of pilgrims and tourists in Lourdes and enjoy authentic and delicious French country dishes at Au Bon Accueil. Owner/host Laurent greets guests warmly, enthusiastically explains and/or translates unfamiliar menu items, and oversees a waitstaff and kitchen that deliver beautifully presented and marvelously flavorful cuisine française. Prices for a three course dinner are VERY reasonable, with up-charges for some of the fancier and more costly items. The wine list features some noteworthy local wines that pair very well with the menu.Ris de veau and pan-seared duck liver pate are notable examples, but every dish we tried was excellent. So were the desserts. But then, who DOESN'T like French desserts??"

"Comimos aquí porque aparcamos la moto en el parking de la plaza adyacente y estábamos buscando un baño. La amabilidad del camarero (que hablaba poco pero suficiente español) y del cocinero, y el aspecto de los platos que servía (pasta y pizza) nos hizo quedarnos a comer a pesar de la hora temprana.El sitio es pequeño con 6 mesas no más, también pequeñas pero suficientes. Como he dicho el trato de los que estaban en el restaurante fue fenomenal desde un principio, incluso antes de saber que nos íbamos a quedar a comer, un once para ellos.La comida abundante y bastante buena. Mi mujer pidió el pato del día que era un plato de espagueti boloñesa "bastante grande" con ensalada, que incluía bebida y postre. Yo pedí una pizza mediana también bastante buena, con masa fina y buena cantidad de ingredientes. En resumen, comida sin lujos, pero bien de precio y de calidad, más que suficiente para lo que pretendíamos, y seguramente mejor que en la mayoría de restaurantes de la calle principal que da acceso al santuario."

"Visited this restaurant at lunchtime with a friend. Ordered menu of the day for €11melon and mozzarella for starter for me and my friend had the verrine of trout and avocado followed by the parmentier de coeur de canard (a subtitle mix of carrots and sweet potato). Desert was extra but worth the try and very affordable for less than €5. The best for last - la carte des cafés; a large selection of coffee from around the world and I had my first blue mountain coffee taster. This family run restaurant is very welcoming and well situated 5 minutes walk from the grotto. This place ia a hidden gem in Lourdes many thanks for the delicious meal"

"New concept to me as never had seen Tibétan Restaurant ! And probably would haven't come across it ,if it wasn't for Tripadvisor either !It is a bit farther up the hill away from "mainstream" and is obvious that lives on reputation as from the outside is kind of missable, although there were couple of tables our on side walk the second night when just passed.We arrived early and got a table right away and got kind of busy around 20:00hrs.We chose one set of fixed price 18€ and the others and the experience were as follows;Flour soup tasted that row flour and nothing special , in fact hard to tackle,This kind of vegatable and pork soup ok but again not that tasty ;Chicken curry ( like a Thai green) and very nice and tasty and reasonable portion;Dumpling very tasty excellent and nice little tasty side salad tooPlain rice good tooSalmon salad (I think?!) was nice and tasty sauce and nuts.Rice pudding not much taste and flavour apart from tiny bit of dried fruits which boosted it up slightly wished were more pieces !Service very good and unpretentious and price reasonable so pleasant experience all in all."

"Popped in with the family because my wife was craving some good old fashioned Fish and chips. The restaurant presents as a twee tea room and is pleasant enough. As it turned out her order was acceptable but very small as was my chicken and mushroom pie and chips which was served in a shallow ramekin with a pastry crust, I use that term loosely as my pie had been reheated in the microwave as a result the pastry was beyond soggy, when put to the lady owner she replied that it was lovely and crispy when it came out of the oven in the morning, as if that would make me feel better about the experience. How does the old saying go ... The food wasn't great and there wasn't much of it !!! € 70 for 4 without any alcoholic drinks !! Would I go back ..I think not !!!"
