"I stopped by the Brauhaus for lunch with a party of six due to the good reviews as well as recommendations by locals. Overall, the food was nothing out of the ordinary and not particularly flavorful. Nobody in our party was a big beer drinker, so I cannot comment on the quality of the beer which is probably great. A number of us had a potato soup, which came with a gigantic sausage. The flavoring of the broth was a bit off, but not too bad. I had a desert (parfait) which was very good. The service, however, was strange, bordering on impolite. Our waiter felt it necessary to 'yodel' every answer, but not in a funny way. The two waitresses I encountered were very matter-of-fact, and not overly friendly.In sum, the Brauhaus is something of a tourist haunt that I would not return to."

If you visit Wittenberg I recommend you to have dinner at the Brauhaus Wittenberg. Typical German heavy style eating, lots of meat and great beer !

the brewhouse is an old-hearted locality at the Wittenberger Marktkirche. eating is natural, plentiful and tasty. the prices are pleasantly appropriate. the staff always has a fleeting word on the lips, is helpful and friendly. the blasphemy on the herrenklo looks a little old-fashioned. everything in all recommended

on the basis of the luther year, the other was quite large, since the weather for staying in the very beautiful beer garden of the cranachhöfe was not possible.The stubs of the restaurant were almost completely filled. The food was much better than what we have experienced in most German brewery restaurants. My ox liver and mashed potatoes was hardly a challenge for the kitchen, and it was fine, while my wife‘s salmon with mixed steamed vegetables was beautifully cooked. I drank brewery beer, and it was excellent, my wife a very drinkable Sylvaner. The dining area is historically interesting, service was fast and efficient, and the price fair.

Our group of 10 ate lunch here before leaving Wittenberg for Berlin. There was some confusion regarding our reservation and we were initially seated at the wrong table; but once we settled in, the food was excellent. The salads were fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend the Goulash soup and pork schnitzel best we had in Germany. Beer was good, too. Service was friendly. The restaurant and tables were beautifully decorated for Christmas. Overall a very pleasant experience.

we were there to victories in the evening, had to be ca. 30min waiting for a free table but was rewarded. the brewed beer tastes very good and also the foods have a very good quality for the quantity and wrap in the beer garden. we had on the table rouladen with apple-red cabbage, chicken breast with kartoffels, a beyer broth-time plate, foil potato, sülze and salat, all super. only the service could be a bit warmer and more accommodating despite the high rise. is worth a visit to all cases.
