"The good news is that this is a very nice place to have breakfast or lunch. The interior is nice, the location, right next to the Luxembourg gardens is excellent and the food is wonderfully. I had a very pleasant mushroom quiche this morning and my wife a very nice Brioche. The downside is the price. Paris is expensive but at this place you might want to lie down before they provide the bill. To me the food was worth the price but I'm not sure all would agree. There's is a takeout counter next to the restaurant. The savings are pretty modest. By all means if you want to take a picnic into the park next door use the takeout counter. Just don't think the savings over eating in will amount to all that much."

The brioche was absolutely sublime. Wife and I went there for brioche and coffee every morning. The brioche was recommended to me by "Edible Paris".

Great food, great wine, quaint and English-friendly staff. I ate here for brunch... excellent selection of juices and wine along with marvelous pastries. I had the salmon and spinach quiche. Yummy! Ver carta

This is a popular patisserie in the Luxembourg neighborhood (across from the Hotels Perreyve and L'Avenir. The baked goodies, sandwiches, etc. are showy and tasty, but very expensive compared to other like purveyors. There are more interesting pastries in the neighborhood for less money. This place does have nice seating, including tables outside.

While the location isn't the best, it is still near the Luxembourg park so its not entirely in the middle of no where. I'd walk to it again and again if I'm being honest. On to the more important part, the food here is great. This is a fantastic tea room, more than a coffee place so I do recommend getting tea instead of coffee here. The cheeses here, the quiches, the desserts are all fantastic. You can't go wrong. Hard by the western side of the Jardins de Luxembourg, I've been eating the mushroom quiche here since at least 2008, and like other places I've known and still like.....the consistency of this dish keeps me coming back. But truly, it's not just consistent....it's a fabulous single serving, beautiful, flaky quiche served with a very simple and terrific side salad. On the light side, maybe with a glass or two of wine, and you're on your way into the afternoon without having lost much time and without much damage to your pocketbook.

Based on a recommendation from a local, we came here to try "the best croissant" in Paris. After trekking through the Luxembourg Garden, we found this shop in a quiet neighborhood, unlike other hustle and bustle of tourist traps. We tried the salmon quiche and tarte provencale, and both were amazingly fresh and delicious. After a very satisfying lunch, we picked up some freshly baked croissants and pain aux raisins from the counter area next door to the cafe. This is not an exaggeration; we literally stopped in our track when we first tasted the perfectly baked croissants and pain aux raisins. It was a very memorable experience, and we highly recommend this place.
