Arrived without a booking and got a table for two straight away, friendly staff great menu for burgers and steak's. Food was quick and hot and very tasty. Had a lovely meal

dipped at the arrival. also not disappointed. warm reception, fast service and a decent choice on the menu. Good food quality and portion size with a fair price. good garden area with separate playground for children.

excellent steaks! really meat option in the brinkley lodge. the personal we are friendly and helped with our selection of food. my rumpsteak was cooked to perfection, with really good portions on the side. great atmosphere inside or outside.

Best sunday dinner around! Had the beef and it was so soft, infact everything on the plate was cooked to perfection! Decent price for quality food. Steaks are always cooked perfect too! I would highly recommend to go for food! Nice seating in or outside with a little play park too!

Our experience at this restaurant was terrible. The service was rude and unprofessional, the food was cold, poorly presented, and extremely salty. The management's response to our complaint was unsatisfactory, with no apologies offered by the staff. It is not worth your money or time to dine here.

The food was excellent,at a reasonable price.However,they obviously make up for their reasonable price by charging over the top for drinks. £6.06 for a pint of Guinness blackcurrent is nearly as much as a fairly local Greene King pub charges for a 3 course meal,and they don't over charge for drinks.

First time for a long time. On entry what was noticed was how loud the music was playing on a radio or something like that. Difficult trying to find somewhere that wasn't so loud. The lunch menu seemed to have more choice on for us but that stops at 5pm as we really didn't want a big meal like steak etc. But we opted for surf and turf. Service was ok and the food. The food came and we didn't have to wait long and decided on sweets consisting of cheesecake and fudge cake which were both ok. On the whole not a bad visit but just the music too loud.

We were recommended to Brinsley lodge by our daughter and son in law who are regular visitors. We weren’t disappointed. Lovely welcome and staff attentive . We had the chefs special sharing nachos. Oh my word! Absolutely delicious. We had mix grill (paid an extra £1 for the burger) plus peppercorn sauce and the final dish admiral fish finger bloomer. Both came with homemade fires and onion rings plus a corn on the cob. The portions were very plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. As per anywhere else the drinks are what bumps up the price. Very regular customers here and usually could not fault the food and service we receive. There are quite a few new members of staff and I think that will to make sure no one leaves unhappy has gone. After booking a week previous and entering today there was a sign saying cash only. Usually I have no cash, but today I did so no worries. My party all ate and had a very good meal and the service was good, that was until payment time, the only cash I had included a £50 note. It felt the staff were joyous in telling me they didn't except them. Maybe we should have been called before we came of the cash only and no 50's.
