"Good place to have a good choice of steak at reasonable prices. Most of us had the Tagesteller, pork steak with french fries and vegetables and a choice of either soup or salad. The pea soup and steak were excellent. Dinner came with a herbal...butter sauce which helped to season the rather bland vegetables and fries. The roast beef was very cold, with tartar sauce and french fries. It looked rather plain without any trimming. The staff was friendly and attentive."

"we came into a crowded and lively restaurant that they liked to organize a table for 3 new, despite our nutritional needs. 2 gluten-free with a lactose intolerance and allergic to mushrooms and berries! Nothing was too much annoyed, although it was very full. we all enjoyed our food there was no delay and staff were all helpful and friendly. certainly recommend this restaurant with is very authentic and full of local charm."

"We, family of 3 patronised this restaurant yesterday on recommendation of my brother who ate here a year ago during vacation. We have been to Thailand many times. This restaurant serves very delicious, authentic Thai dishes. We ordered crispy duck (recommended by Thai lady owner), pork fried with basil leaves, prawn tomyam gung, venison in green curry and minced pork omelette (on request, not in menu). All very yummy and spicy oomph. Level of spiciness on request. Can request dishes not in menu. Their Thai ingredients, including vegetables comes from Thailand every Monday. Lady owner teaches Thai cooking every Tuesday. The restaurant have 3 Thai chefs. Close on Mondays."

"Burritos are so tasty, loved that there are vegan options. Really filling too as the burritos are packed with fillings. Popular place so give yourself some time to queue, it is so worth it though! Great vibe and well priced food for the taste and amount you get."

"After reading the reviews here, we were hesitant to give this place a try. Once you 've actually travelled in China, you kind of get realllllllly picky about your Chinese food. When we eat Chinese, we want authentic, which means it takes us back to China, culinarily speaking. And I am delighted to say that this place had us all on cloud nine. We made a point of asking for authentic spicing, and we weren 't disappointed. We had our favourite assortment of dishes: hot sour soup (OMG! ; ma po tofu (more meat than tofu and sooooo flavourful dare I say better than what we had in Nanning? and flavoured with fresh, zingy Sezchuan pepper; fish in black bean sauce (oh my! ; bok choi (they use only the tender, baby bok choi, delicately seasoned and cooked to perfection ; and sauteed eggplant with garlic sauce. The tea was high quality too. And to top it off, the fortune cookie told me that I was destined to give this place a great review. We went at lunch time, so it wasn 't too busy, and perhaps as a result, the service was prompt and friendly. Some reviewers have complained about the service, but we were not disappointed at all in that respect (or any! . Brig isn 't exactly culinary heaven (lots of pizza to be had , so Yuan sticks out like a really delightful sore thumb. Do stop by if you 're looking to wake up your taste buds."
