"Excellent! Tip from the connoisseur: Pizza Diavola (sic! The pizza was really delicious and absolutely competitive with the original pizzas from Italy: thin soil, best Neapolitan salami and delicious tomato sauce. A dream. I don't know how to keep prices in quality, but €7.50 for this taste is formal given. Very recommended."

"Uns war dieses Restaurant von unseren Wirten in unserem Bed and Breakfast in Bethen empfohlen worden als Ort, in dem man "gute deutsche Kueche" finden wuerde und wo sie sich sicher fuehlten, keine falsche Empfehlung ausgesprochen zu haben. Christi Himmelfahrt war dieses Restaurant abends nur leider geschlossen (vielleicht als Vorsichtsmassnahme gegen besoffene Horden?), also sind wir erst am naechsten Abend dort gewesen. Das Lokal in der Naehe der Stadthalle hat nicht unbedingt eine exquisite Atmosphaere, es ist relativ nuechter, spartanisch und modern. Die Karte ist eine Mischung neu-modernen Standards und missverstandenen Gerichten ausserhalb der traditionellen Kueche. Die Portionern sind wie fast ueberall in Norddeutschland fuer unsere Begriffe gigantisch und einfach nicht zu schaffen - wir haetten etwas mehr Originalitaet und Dedikation sicherlich den riesigen Portionen vorgezogen. Die Preise sind leicht oberhalb derer vergleichbarer Restaurants und lassen damit vermuten, dass auch eine etwas bessere Qualitaet geboten wuerde. Dies ist jedoch nicht so. Wer im Fruehjahr "frische Pfifferlinge" zu jedem zweiten Gericht anbietet, muss schon ein Magier sein, wenn diese armen geschmacklosen Kreaturen jedoch ungesalzen und verkocht in grossen Mengen zu einzelnen Gerichten dargeboten werden, dann fragt man sich: was soll das??Waere uns aehnliches in einer anderen Gegend als in der totalen Diasporie der guten Kueche (laendliches Norddeutschland) angeboten worden, dann haette es auch bestenfalls 2 Punkte gehagelt, so gibt's 3 aber auch nicht mehr!"
