"We decided to visit this restaurant with our friends because it is local to us, we have been there before and had good food and we love Italian food. We arrived on what we thought would be a busy evening due to a local international air show. When we got into the restaurant it was very quiet but didn't think much of it. Then we looked at the menu and was shocked as to the changes that had been made as there was only a couple of things on there that would be classified as Italian it was mainly Asian/Eastern food. We were somewhat confused and quizzed the waitress as to where the Italian choices had gone and she advised that the menu had been changed. The choices for the 4 of us were vegi skewers, beef skewers, burger and meatballs. The food was cooked well and tasted good but the restaurant seems to currently have an identity crisis with an Italian name and stating italian restaurant on the front of the menu but very little Italian food choices. Also it was very quiet for a Saturday night, no atmosphere and the waitresses seemed to rush us a little in order that they could close up. I would not recommend this restaurant at the moment until the menu changes."

The restaurant was not good. The food was mediocre. I ordered a soup that was half boiling hot and half freezing cold, indicating a typical microwave preparation. The workers were unprofessional and lazy.

Really pleasant evening. Food was delicious and super value. Staff were polite and attentive. Live football available, seats available and staff were constantly checking tables and making sure tables were cleared promptly.

Carvery meat was over cooked, potatoes were hard. Mash potato had a weird taste,Yorkshire puddings were very chewy. Desserts were tasteless and small. used to have the best apple pie and custard.profittore rolls was lovely. Very basic.

We had a great experience as first time in visiting since changing to a carvery, the family enjoyed the variety of courses available for our recent Sunday lunch. I would request a few more vegetable options with the main course as little choice on that side otherwise would have given 5 stars instead of 4. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would definatley recommend to book and give a go.
