top eating with top service as always a top experience!

Exceptional ambience associated with excellent service and very good food; absolutely recommended

Ambience fantastic, service very attentive, food quality very good, beverage prices significantly too high!

eating was as always very good. However, as with our last visit before some weeks, the suppe relatiw was cold and also the main dish could have been significantly warmer, especially the sweet.

pleasant atmosphere, view into the wine mountains, beautifully covered tables, staff very friendly, eating could be a little better. at vitello tonnato the thunfish was missing in the sauce, the sour roast was too mad

quality and above all portion size not according to the price. lachs tataki fish quantity 20 grams of the rest salat, pulpo 3 small pieces with a total of perhaps 30 grams pulpo and the rest salat. half lobster 30 gramm lobster

the service was very flappy and actually not appropriate to a restaurant of this type. the main dish was qualitatiw below average, e.g. the bratkartoffeln were extremely fat and tasted as warmed up from frituse. you get a better meal at a much better price with many winzers in the rheingau. the location with the view is beautiful. the ambiente and interieur have come clearly into the years. here is made up of our very own renovation needs. Conclusion: the price-performance ratio is not true here at all!

The restaurant with terrace is unique. The service is partly somewhat unhappy, but friendly. The wine list could be a bit better sorted especially in older Rieslingen; there is already a greater variety in the Rheingau. The menu is short, but contains a good range of very well-selected dishes, the composition of which suggests a French manuscript in the kitchen. All we ordered was excellent. The last cut to the fifth star was missing. The yellow-tailed mackerel, the gooseberries, the calfsbries and the Boeuf Bourguignon are highly recommended. The desserts were absolute top.
