"Im Hotel Zur Henne etwas außerhalb von Naumburg haben wir im Juli 2015 eine Woche verbracht. An mehreren Abenden haben wir im Gasthaus, das sich im Erdgeschoss des Haupthauses des Hotels befindet, bzw. im dahinterliegenden Biergarten gegessen oder zumindest ein Getränk zu uns genommen. Die Biergarten Karte ist weniger umfangreich als die Abendkarte im Restaurant selbst, bietet aber dennoch, v.a. durch die Saisonkarte, eine große Auswahl. Im Großen und Ganzen würde ich die Auswahl als zu groß bezeichnen. Das Essen überzeugte aber fast durchweg, v.a. die saisonalen Pfifferlingsgerichte. Leider nicht so optimal ist das Rinderfilet an Salat mit Antipasti gelungen: sehniges Fleisch, zu durchgebraten, mit Antipasti, wie man sie im Kühlregal jedes Supermarktes bekommt, dazu Kräuterbaguette, das ich ebenfalls aus dem TK Fach kenne. Schade, beim teuersten Gericht der Karte. Die Weinauswahl regionale wie internationale Tropfen, ist ebenso wie das Eis , Kuchen und Dessertangebot gut. Die Servicekräfte verstehen ihr Handwerk allesamt sehr gut, sind ausreichend oft am Tisch gewesen und auch bei vollem Hazs flott mit den Getränken. Zu empfehlen ist das Hennebräu , das früher im Haus selbst gebraut wird, mittlerweile in einer fränkischen Brauerei, aber nach dem alten Hausrezept. Frisch und süffig. Für eventuelle Hotelgäste: Das Frühstück ist Bombe! Gute Brot /Brötchenauswahl, verschiedene Müslis, frische Obstplatte, große Auswahl an Belagen, täglich Rührei, gekochtes Ei, gebratener Speck, überbackene Tomaten (warm) und Rotkäppchensekt, soviel man möchte, ist täglich inklusive."

"Quality is at the top! We met the restaurant last year and since then we visit regularly! Even if there is a sufficient selection of restaurants in the nearby Naumburg, the trip to Großjena is worthwhile. The dishes change regularly. The card is kept small, impresses with its variation. This also affects the quality of food from regional products and really fresh! It's really a pleasure. For 1-2 euros more than in comparable restaurants in the area I feel double quality."

"Our secret(s Our quality, so the guests of the Athos in Freyburg are welcomed above the entrance. On the other hand, they would be better prepared for what is waiting for them, because the potentially numerous qualities of this restaurant are mostly kept secret from the clientele. An ordered vegetarian mussaka was unfortunately no longer available, may happen. As an alternative, an appetizer dish is recommended, but it is not vegetarian, as it shows when serving: chopballs and fish cream decorate the plate. The communication between operating personnel and kitchen therefore seems to be missing quality. The appetizer salad for the other main dish is brought twice, so the coordination with one another also has certain quality deficiencies. The biggest problem of this place, however: the boss. Mr. Tassos advises on the restaurant website to have established a restaurant with over twenty years of business experience. Let's take a look at what this actually means: Penetrant something loud, gliding around with proudly wavy breasts, he runs around the guests to pick weeds out of the plant pots here and there, or to collect cutlery that one of his employees had previously been able to distribute laboriously on the tables. When he has nothing to do, he is happy to whistle over the heads of his guests and to grumble when he sees any face he knows on the street. As it seems to be the busiest street in Freyburg, it is quite common. A pair of guests is sent out from the interior or existing conservatory outside, in summer you should not sit in the conservatory (note the author: puppies are of course not an argument for indoor dining . The comment of the Gästin, now most likely to go, is acknowledged with a laugh. A few minutes later, the boss begins to warn other incoming guests that it would rain soon and he would then enter the terraces covering awning, for the pleasure of all just eating or waiting guests, which are just outside the couple naturally included. When paying for the unfortunate course regarding the vegetarian order, he is breaking a cascade of explanations and justifications that would be there: 1st Sunday, many dishes are no longer available (the author's tip: if it is not possible to plan for a holiday weekend, perhaps not to be opened throughout the weekend... 2. Here it turns out: Good food and it is really good there can not be edible for a long time if everything else is wrong... ... especially if the fish stinks from the head. Clear not recommendation."

"We were told before that this is a quite good restaurant and it is quite true taht the meal in general was very good except the fcat that one of our friends found her fish somewaht undercooked. Nevertheles you should try this place as the meals are sumptious and worth the money"

"We held our Christmas party there yesterday. In the beginning it was so loud, but that was laid during the evening. The wine cellar was stylish and brightly decorated, it was always asked for our well-being, the service was excellent. The food, yes, very simple, was already horny. I mean, don't eat everything, Bauer. But what went over my lips yesterday made every bit of joy for more. As an appetizer I had a super of the tuber cellar, the main course was with crabs, broccoli and two types of potatoes and dessert, a little bit of winter, a tonka bean cream with apple, raisins and a delicious crispy top. All in all, it was a successful evening. I'm going to strike up private there again!"
