"When holidaying in Cornwall the bush pepper should be a top tier priority your list. There are many things to enjoy on the menu but in my opinion you must always try something new. For example their kangaro was such a unusual but delicious dish. It doesn't have that gamey beefy iron taste to it, so you really can season it however you like. The menu said it was Cajun but I felt it lacked that spicy element. The port and red wine reduction was lovely. And the sweet potato wedges really complimented the kangaroo. My wings were fall apart melt in your mouth. However, it said it was BBQ flavour I think it needed a bit more of a smokey depth to it. The sauce felt a little confused. But still delicious. The people who served us were a delight Jasmine and Sian. Two sweet Stella servers who make all the correct check backs at the appointed time. They had great banter. They really did look after us. Check backs really mean alot to me as a customer and you can always tell if they are genuine. The portion sizes as you can see are spot on. Just an all round amazing time. The owner must be proud."

great food! the monk was amazing, perfectly cooked! very cheap. large parts. service was a bit slow, but helpful at allergies. for the beautiful vegan dessert! definitely book them in this restaurant!

Outstanding meal the flavours were absolutely stunning. We ordered the Rib eye kangaroo. The service was extremely attentive and the homemade baileys simply finished the meal off. We’ll be back next time we visit Newquay Jane Bobby

I had a meal this week when I was in newquay. eating was amazing, well presented and so delicious. so beautiful to experience various foods. the crocodile and chorizo Scotch egg kangaroo steak was incredible. beautiful atmosphere. a hidden gem worth a visit

Best Surf Turf I have had in ages. Kangaroo steak was very tasty. Temperatures were on point. We got scallops for appetizers and were so tasty. Everything was really tasty and looked appealing. Staff were very friendly and dessert was the best. Would definitely go there again!

The food and service was great- such a cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere as well. I had the mushroom linguine and my partner had the kangeroo- they were both so good. You also get a complimentary shot of the owners homemade baileys which was so tasty that we bought a big bottle of it to take home with us Definitely recommend!

really nice meal, I had the crispy skin bass with sweet potato wedges. that was as described. good service and really delicious food. the only disappointing court we had was the starter, alpine bush pfeffer calamari. it had no pfeffer taste and the teig did not seem to stay at the calamari. other than that a very good culinary experience.

I and my husband have just eaten here. he was a little hesitant at first because it was different, but he gave in and we dictated. I had the kangaroo burger and pommes, he had the byron focaccia (Chicken/bacon/crushed advacado) with pommes. waited for a little while to eat, but if I had arrived quickly, I would have listened to the microwave ping. the eating was good and good to wait and not inappropriately expensive (my eating was on a lunch deal deal $10 for 2 courses). next time I'm in newquay, this will be a place to be back).
