"Called in on a Friday just after 8pm with my 3 kids(age 15,11,11) as had seen board outside earlier advertising tapas. Very welcoming, great atmosphere, Only small but vibrant, fast efficient, friendly service. Estrella on draught always a good sign, kids loved their ice teas free sweets. Then the tapas arrived, all served together, good size portions, really tasty yet very reasonably priced. Will be back. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"We stayed overnight in Newquay, and were trying to find a restaurant that had gluten free meals. The Cornish Coffee Bean took care of us! Our niece said her gluten free breakfast was phenomenal! . The guy serving us (owner maybe? was talking to us about our travels through the UK, and when we told him where we were going to be staying that evening, he told us that we would be a very short drive from Stonehenge (missed the summer solstice festivities by a couple days . Thanks to him letting us know, we added that historical location stop for the next day! Thanks for the great food and service!!!!"

"We’ve been coming to Lewennick for many years. It’s a special place for us somewhere we stayed after our wedding. We’ve waited 3 years to visit again after covid and were really looking forward to it, it just didn’t feel as welcoming as it used to. We booked well in advance and requested a window table, this hadn’t been arranged. The person serving us (potentially the manger) seemed quite off, not very warm and chatty left us feeling a little disappointed. After travelling all the way from London, we were sad that this was our first negative experience there in over 10 years. The food was lovely and you’ll never be able to fault those stunning views. Hoping for a warmer welcome next visit!"

"Really lovely meal, 5 of us, nearly all had 3 courses, and not one dish disappointed. The dishes were different and made a lovely change from the usual dishes that are repeated everywhere. The service was fab and really friendly and relaxed. Usually always favour the Lewinick in this area, but this beat the meal we had there hands down. Would come again without doubt"

It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space comfortable and appealing for all ages. As for the food, it was nothing short of excellent. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a classic burger and fries, succulent beef brisket, and deliciously tender pork belly. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with flavours that were rich and satisfying. The burger was juicy and well-seasoned, paired with crispy fries that were impossible to resist. The beef brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a smoky flavour that highlighted the quality of the meat. The pork belly was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of crispy skin and tender, flavourful meat. The service was exemplary throughout our meal. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed while allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace. They were especially accommodating to our young family, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, we left Rebellion Restaurant very satisfied and with full bellies. It's a place that not only delivers on great food but also excels in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newquay, whether you're looking for a family-friendly spot or just a great meal in a fantastic setting.
