What a great bit of scran, popped in on the off chance and got seated for my wife and I immediately, staff are friendly and attentive, music not to loud so you can chat and the food is of the scale goooooooood !!!!

love the atmosphere, very intimate. staff are lovely and extremely attentive i think regarding the other reviews people just ask too much when it’s considerably busy. the food was almost a 5/5 but the brisket was pretty dry and a small potion compared to most of the other meals. the cocktails are wonderful and quite a large selection. overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is a MUST go to when in newquay staff are friendly has a great atmosphere and a big thank you to Mark for accommodating us in a busy period and making sure everything was good for us food is absolutely delicious we had the halloumi fries and moonshine prawn for starter's followed by the sirloin steak and brisket for mains all was delicious and cooked to perfection and the 4 cocktails we tried were all very impressive will definitely be back when back in newquay thank you Ver carta

We had a terrible experience with the food at this restaurant. I would have given it a 1-star rating for the food alone, but the friendly staff bumped it up to a 2-star review. I ordered the southern fried monkfish stack, which came out with a soggy bun and water dripping from it. The stack was mostly bread and lettuce, with only a small portion of fish. The mashed potatoes were tasty, but not visually appealing. The coleslaw looked like it had been sitting out all day, so I didn't try it. First time at rebellion in newquay despite being a local! So glad we decided to try some where new rather than our usual spots. For starters I had the crispy beef which I'd never tried before and my partner had the hallumi. They were both very nice, but I personally struggled to eat all the crispy beef as was quite a large portion. For mains, I had the steak and my partner and the burger.
