The afternoon tea was excellent. There was a wide selection of items to choose from and the food was of high quality.

This was a gift and we had never been to Cafe 21 before. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning.

the best baskenkäsekuchen in newcastle, the top 1 sweets I can't give up, even I'm diet. the staff is very nice and friendly, even if the price is a bit high, but they deserve it.

Afternoon Tea was ok. Sandwiches were good however should have been more savoury food. Eg a cheese scone instead of a plain scone. Maybe a sausage roll? And 3 cakes is too many per person.

Great afternoon tea, vegetarian and gluten free options were no problem and really tasty. Staff seemed a bit over worked or not enough of them and getting their attention was challenging throughout our couple of hours there. However they were friendly, just busy!

So, cafe 21 is not all about eating. what I really admire is the personal. here there are mostly older customers and the employees are simply amazing with them. they hear and show real interest in their customer lives. it is really inspiring to supplement this, they seem silver service trained and overall eating is well made for a nice visit back to the uk.

a nice lunch with my father after the finish. the whole load, as well as this caffe, was immaculately clean and all employees were very careful to constantly clean their areas. the waiting staff was very efficient and the kitchen staff supported them very well. it was just what we wanted and nothing we didn't do. even after so long development and the fights carried out by all standards are adhered to, which are a good one for all involved.

I have a nut allergy so am careful when ordering, they couldn't have been more helpful. They substituted items out for me and kept me informed of any changes to the menu they had made. Would really recommend, helpful staff and took lots of care e.g. bread from market without detailed ingredients so they used different bread for me -1 for time to serve, but were apologetic of the wait time and gave a complementary glass of prosecco for the wait
