Café Am Markt - Carta

I only had a Latte Macchiato. It was good. The cake looked very good but I didn't try it. The service was very friendly. It's a good place to go.

found this place today and loved it. Just had the best plum cake ever! Waiter was helpful and friendly and coffee and surroundings were superb. Get yourself here.

We had lunch here and were not disappointed. Their menu is not extensive (as this primarily is a coffee house) but food was good and reasonably prized (under € 10,- for a mains and desert). Friendly staff. Ver carta

Classy Cafe house in the old town of Osnabrueck. A fantastic breakfast, reservation recommended!! Best homemade cake selection in town with very friendly and attentive service. Been here many times and quality has an excellent consistency.

If You R in Osnabrück Germany, must visit Cafe am Markt. Really nice place to have a afternoon cafe & cake. Very friendly crew, super clean and excellent cakes and cafee. Also we went there for a breakfast buffet which was excellent too, Full Buffet with everything. Do not miss it, Try..Bravo, guys. Thanks

Because the place has such a fantastic ambience you expect more than a rather tasteless cafe au lait. To be fair the buffet lunch laid out in the middle looked great,the service was good but both my wife and I were surprised by the cup...of coffee which was frothy and brown in places but not as good as in some other cafes in Osnabŕück Ver carta

The best if all is that fantastic location . Directly and next to the market place , the church and the city hall . This place is in the center . The coffee was good, the cake delicious and has to be selected at the cake bar inside the cafe . The prices are above average in compensation to that location . The service is beside the prices the second minus . Inattentive not friendly caused by stress and ineffective work . Don't believe they will come to get paid when u waved hand it gave other signs three times . Won't return.

Fairly big coffeeshop in the old town of Osnabruck. Place is classic en doesn't try to be hip and trendy. Choose cake at the front of the house, then take the coupons with you and have a seat at the back of the store to order a coffee at your liking. Staff will take the cake coupon and serve both cake and coffee. Not sure about this system.. a bit confusing for first time visitores. Quality of cakes is very high. Quality of coffee as well, although our espresso's machiato could have been a bit stronger.Recommendable place for cake and coffee.

It gives a comfortable feeling, that in almost every German town the hankering for coffee and cake, or a nice sandwich, or a cold beer can be addressed by the services of an establishment just like "Café am Markt" in Osnabrück. And just as in almost any German town, this "Café am Markt" in Osnabrück has a bakery counter in the front, a restaurant area in the back, and, with clement weather, outside tables watched by the historical "St Marien" church. We visited the "Café am Markt" twice on this particular day. In the morning, it was a bit rainy weather, so we stepped inside for, in my case, a large coffee and a delicious wedge of "Sachertorte".
