"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"Wir die Firma Schatz Börse An und Verkauf Wiesbaden Seerobenstrasse 9 möchten uns recht herzlich für einen wunderbaren Abend bedanken . Das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität und nur mit frischen Produkten aus der Region zubereitet. Die Ambiente típisch bürgerlich mit einem sehr schön eingerichtetem Lokal ebenfalls eine schöne Aussenterrasse im Innenhofbereich des Lokals .Wir möchten nochmals ganz besonders hervorheben ,eine grandiose Bedienung namens Frau Andea die den richtigen Piff zu den Gaesten und stets immer ein nettes und zu vorkommendes Wort hat und nichts ist zuviel, hier wird der Gast mit einer sehr großen Freundlichkeit empfangen , man fühlt sich wie Zuhause .Wir bedanken uns nochmals recht herzlich und wir können mit ruhigem Gewissen dieses Restaurant mit 100% auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen . "Being a Mainzer living abroad, I dine at Stein 's Traube at least once during every single of my trips back home . Food is great with a slight regional touch which is lovely! , quality is consistently high, portions are big for this kind of medium to...high end restaurant i.e. there is is enough food on the plate to call it a 'meal ' , service is always very friendly and efficient, great wines from the region, very nice contemporary ambience try to book the main restaurant, if possible. They have two dining rooms, the other one being a bit more rustic in ambience .... an all around pleasant and very tasty affair at good prices for the quality you get!!! We went there last Sunday for fresh white asparagus from the village itself , accompanied that with a very well paired Rheingauer Riesling .... delicious! If you are looking for great food and wines, prepared very very well look no further! Fully recommended. We will return ...again !"
