We at Oetinger have eaten a few times and are still too disappointed. The menu is limited, which was a hint that some delicious dishes are made very good. They also have a beautiful German wine list....They also offer a few good Italian wines. Ver carta

We had chosen Erbach as a base camp for our Rheingau visit. Two nights in a row we had dinner here and were very impressed by the high quality of the kitchen. We also discovered that Rheingau Riesling fits well with home made pasta. Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Authentic in decoration, style and service but the menu is a mixture of Rheingau Essen and Italian. We tried the Italian dishes and liked them very much. The wine selection is rather small with mainly local German wines and a price at the high end... of the scale. Would I go back? Yes, at the right time.

the good hotel is connected with an Italian ristorant, which, if it were located in our city, would quickly become our favourite: very friendly but inconspicuous service, nice ambiente, a clear map with super selected dresses and good weine at moderate prices.We were right at two nights in succession there and were thrilled by each one.The vitello tonato was eating with a distance from the best. cozy restaurant, great facility with good atmosphere. the service is still a lot of air up.The wee prices are exorbitant high, especially because you are on a weingut (not competitive).The card is very clear. we (4pers). had three different appetizers with very good quality, outstanding was the hand cheese with music (at the Italian)!. then 4 different main courses, all rather averaged. the ristorant of oetinger seems to me somewhat overrated. that there is no Italian wee in a "good Italian" is already remarkable. my desire to serve the saltimbocca with pasta instead of petersilienkartoffeln could not be fulfilled! an italian, who cannot serve (or wants) pasta at the beginning, rarely finds. the saltimbocca themselves were a bit overcrowded, otherwise quite neat. the other courts offered no reason to object, but were also not overwhelming. the price level is somewhat high for the services offered. the free espresso and grappa don't make it again.

"autumn time, reading time and cellar filling time. at this weekend we visited with a friendly couple of kiedrich and environments to test the rheingauer rieslinge. we spent on Saturday afternoon at robert, because (yearly tasting 2013). after a nice afternoon on one of the most beautiful Rheingur wines, my wife had booked a table in the gas house engl in kiedrich. the angel is one of the typical Kiedrich guest houses, very traditional. in the ambiden rather dark and ground. still equipped with a good service, the weeps of the wg prinz in kiedrich (we were there to test) as well as a non-children's card. the table was reserved and we took place. after the visit of the cards there were pre- and main dishes. before the main dish was a baguette with crimped square, okay, I don't call it a kitchen gruß.
