"this caffe offers an excellent location and a fantastic view. they have even made far glasses available for their males, as they look over the breakwater. the staff is friendly, helpful and very friendly. the whole caffe is clean and beautifully decorated. they have a decent menu of floor tiles and sandwiches/ panninis, as well as baked carrots with various fillings/fills. there is also a selection of cake to go with coffee and tee. they also make breakfast / all day breakfasts that I suspect are cooked from fresh ingredients from scratch, although we 't try these as for once we felt like something else. (scrambled ei is apparently an option to a small extra cost (50p) the ice cream selection is good, not only a standard freezer full of Walls basics. eating is reasonable and comes in decent portions. it makes a good stop on a walk or to lunch with a view. only two things that took it. from 5 stars to 4 stars: the child food was served in a box (like a happy eating). ideal for farewell, but not so useful when eating. the chips were from frozen chips. fortunately they were fried, which made a difference. they were certainly hot, but not real chips. the fish (for fish and chips) was not a fresh fish. it seemed to be the prepared frozen broken filets. not as tasty as some unfortunately, but ok. the pizza-drill was also a small gland, although it was pfefferoni. I understand that it can be difficult for a small caffe at the end of the high season to supply home cooked food from fresh ingredients, but that was, imho, a missed opportunity."

Very welcoming and friendly staff had a breakfast on Friday on are last day was abit of shame the shop or cafe wasn’t open any other days in the week as would of been down

I rarely comment on experience in cafes etc. But today we had very enjoyable lunch at Cafe Bovisands, baked potato with brie and cranberry was excellent. Extremely pleasant friendly staff,we also enjoyed a delicious coffee (latte). The view is a bonus. Good value. Would recommend.

We visited Bovisand Cafe today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It was so much more than what we'd expected! Warm welcome, great variety of food and drinks and friendly staff. We tried the red pepper soup as well as the French onion soup and they were beautifully presented and delicious. Will definitely be back.

thrown into caffe after I had seen my father in put, scattered ash from a boat directly from the rocks in bovisands. we took the caffe, with all family members who showed up, and that was nice and very cheap. the staff was great and hopeful that we take so many seats. many thanks and we will soon be back for some more beautiful meals, but not so many of us next time

The café was clean and welcoming, especially on a rainy and windy day. A group of us enjoyed delicious hot turkey toast with all the fixings. We were in Plymouth for a family celebration and the owners were very friendly towards our lively group. The apple crumble was perfect for a cold winter day and the lemon curd sponge was heavenly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with lovely people like Jane, Eddy, and Heidi. The only downside is that the café is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but hopefully that will change. We had a great time enjoying karaoke and some pre-Christmas cheer.
