My husband and I came here for dinner on our last night in Alsace. I had the trout and it was honestly one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. The trout was cooked in lemon sauce and topped with sliced almonds. So...delicious!

it does not seem difficult to offer a pretty good camouflage breakfast in Alsace. there they can, however, enjoy ridiculously understated. Moreover, the server rude.m, just like if I were badly harassing her, was just to ask a drink politely and her famous tarte...flambée at the ende there is no way to pay for it with a credit card. only under euro. at all very tourist sites there are places like this and people always come in such restaurants.

We had planned to eat somewhere else, based on TA reviews. But that place was shut. Cafe de la Poste was open. And busy. We would not have tried it had we known its TA ranking. That would have been a mistake. We both had...mains only, veal in a delicious mushroom sauce and sirloin in a Münster cheese sauce. Both meals were delicious. Service was efficient and professional. Maybe not friendly, but that description is over-used and often means a smart-alec waiter. Here, the staff were excellent.

After we had read the reviews before, we had no high expectations, but also those that the site did not meet. the service was good stereotypical French, so we should be grateful to be served at all. because the fact that our escaped and welcome .baguette arrived after the main course should not disturb us. eating was somewhere on the plain of easy to poison them. our Alsace specialties tasted like something they can buy in a super market. the leaders say that this place has been running uninterrupted for centuries. that is something they can't feel definitiw. the only thought we had was how they could stay in business in the last few years.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. A very pleasant man waited on us. I ordered Quiche Lorraine and my husband had the cheese tart. Both came with large side salads and both were very reasonably priced at about...eight euros each. Our experience at Cafe de la Poste was fine. My only quibble is that the waiter mistakenly brought me a small beer instead of the large one I ordered. However, that was definitely not a big deal and he was so pleasant that I overlooked the mistake and simply ordered another round. He got the second round right!
