"After a long holiday to the Antibes, we had visited several restaurants and wandered past many more. The Cafe des Chineurs appealed for our last meal and it did not disappoint. As a family, we studied the menu on the wall earlier in the day and the adults wanted seafood while our children fancied pasta and steak. It is sometimes difficult in Antibes to tick all of these boxes! The buzzing atmosphere and outdoor aspect also attracted us. When we arrived, we were given a table right at the back wall outside,which wouldn't have been our preference. But it was a good spot to enjoy the scene as night descended. The waiter was very good at keeping an eye on our table and being accessible when we needed to order etc. He was good fun too, and gave us a complimentary rum digestif to finish our meal- which was gratefully received. Merci!Food wise- our teenage children had Linguine carbonara and Steak (cooked correctly). Both finished their plates. My wife had salmon with sweet potato and rice ( lovely) and I ordered the Sole Meuniere. For puddings we had choc mouse, Creme brulee, banana split and Peach melba. All looked and tasted good. With a small bottle of Rose and sodas,the bill was around 130 Euro which was worth paying for such quality and service."

Stopped for a late lunch, and fortunately, as the sign shows outside they serve nonstop. Service and food were excellent.

correct meal but taste not exceptional, very nice setting, nice clean restaurant. Servers are fighting in front of customers.

Endroit plutôt sympathique, serveurs souriants et agréables. Mozzasticks uhmm... Nous étions 10 et avons tous passés un super moment au café des chineurs, je recommande vivement !

Dans le vieil Antibes ce restaurant avec terrasse bien équipée sert une cuisine de bon niveau avec un service raide et efficace.Il y a du monde mais cela n'empêche pas l'équipe d'être sympathique

Was here some years ago, food has severly deteriorated since then from how I remember it. Mussels were tasteless, linguini was tasteless, caesar salad was plain and tasteless, salmon was rather average. Service was fast and OK though, however a bit stressful. Avoid.
