Cafe Extrablatt Wiesbaden

We waited 45 minutes for food which when it finally arrived had obviously been sat there for quite a while. Waiting staff could not care less. Watch out for pickpockets, or better yet just don't go. We will never return here.

They run a breakfast buffet, reasonable price (around seven Euro). Coffee is extra. Fair amount of activity but they always have more space. Probably one of the four places in Wiesbaden I'd recommend for a breakfast stop. Deal ends around noon. They also run a great ice cream shop.

The atmosphere is great. We had some of the best thin crust pizza we have had anywhere in our travels. The apple strudel was right up there with some other great apple strudels too. It is just a very enjoyable place with really good food. We have been in 48 of the 50 states. Have traveled, also, in France, Germany, Ireland and England. Ver carta

Extrablatt is a relaxing restaurant on the main pedestrian street in Wiesbaden. The food is average, most of it is probably frozen and reheated, but the prices are very affordable. Monday through Saturday mornings they have a breakfast buffet for 7.45€. I prefer Extrablatt as a place to meet friends for cheap drinks and sit and people watch.

I've eaten at Extrablatt a few times. Have had the brunch buffet and normal lunch. Food is excellent. Service is very good. Ordered food comes very fast. Waiters are very helpful and friendly.I highly recommend this place. It's location is great as well.One recommendation I would give is to have free wifi. If they have that, I did not see any sign or detect any signal on my phone when I searched for wifi.Overall, great place to eat. Well done. Keep it up.

This is my 2nd time at this cafe/restaurant in Wiesbaden. My first time I tried their delicious and reasonably-priced breakfast buffet.This time I tried one of their hamburger offerings. It was the spicy Mexican Burger. It was soooooo delicious!It offered me the best of two worlds: a very "Texas" spicy burger with a juicy 180g meat patty; and a special crispy barley & oatmeal bun typical of the "Brötchen" found at the fresh bakeries in Germany!All I can say is wow! We were here on Sunday and the city, regarding Sunday in Germany with no shopping stores available, was soooooooooo quiet that we could not do anything except churches and monuments and old buildings sightseeing. After that, we considered a cafe to sit and relax, there were a few cafe opened on the day.Extrablatt was much more outstanding than another fews because of its renown all around Germany and importantly, its location at centre of Mainz.I ordered Iced Coffee, that was vanilla ice cream with milk coffee on top. So delicious and made me fresh on that quite hot day in Mid August.

Heidelberg, situated on the banks of the river Neckar Cafe Extrablatt is a part of a Cafe chain; one of the most popular cafes in Heidelberg. Location of the Cafe is very convenient, right on the main street. It offers a good selection of menu items. It serves good German beer, cocktails, mock tails, drinks e.g. coffee, croissants and other lip-smacking delicacies like fry and pizza. Locals and tourists throng to the place for breakfast and a drink, and /or to laze around in their cozy Cafe or sit out/ hang out in their out-side terrace Cafe. I like the place. and the food there is good comparing with the price. But what a shame for the service. I had a bad experience with the waitress (jana). I will tell u exactly what happened between me and the waitress. No smile at all. No that much care. Being stupid to customer (witch is me) like when I order garlic bread she say it's not in the menu you can order cheese bread which is bruschetta. I tell here 3 times that I have saw it in the menu I am sure it's there but she as a waitress keep tilling me no it's not with a ugly smile then she go.
