"This is a small quaint restaurant on the corner of a residential neighborhood. There are about 15 to 20 tables inside. When you walk in just go for a table and seat yourself. What I have found in Germany is that you need to seat yourself unless there is a sign. If you don't then you will lose the table to the person walking in behind you.The food here is great. They have a daily special menu written on a chalk board just inside the front door. I had the Shrimp Scampi dish. It was not your traditional scampi style but a very light tomato base. It had a nice spicey tang to it. On special was a Gnocchi dish and a large salad with sliced hot beef. The Gnocchi was also great as was the salad but the beef was a little tough. I have heard that you need to ask if it's beef as Germany is known for serving horse. The daily specials are planned out at least one week ahead of time. We hope to return for a Rolladin dish which i have heard is also good. The desserts were homemade by our server. I had the vanilla apple cake which was also good. They do not take credit cards or should I say the "credit card machine was not working". Most places here don't seem to take credit cards and only want cash or the European debit card.I highly recommend this place and intend to return."

this hike to the city from the congress center found and was pleasantly surprised to find a small caffe that sells different curries next to the standard German. the beer was local and good, the good well done and (to a British palate) unexpected in its taste combinations.

I believe it might be a few places out off touristic areas that is open at Sunday nights in Bonn, and it has actually saved out lives (arriving at evening in Bonn with kids). The food is good and the ambiance is cozy. Most of all, staff is really sympathetic. Worth the visit in all senses!

Not outstanding quality restaurant but casual and nice offer for not expectations lucnh on Sunday. There is a menu on 3 groups a stuff: Salads, Pasta and Indian food. We had a Salad with chicken Tandoori and a Chiken Massala. Both honest proposals. The atmoshpere nice for a relaxed sunday in Bonn Sudstatt Ver carta

The menu is Italian and Indian - a unlikely combination that is not very common - I tried both - curry chicken and some hot pasta - the pasta was great and al dente and the curry was great too - I can recommend this place for a relaxed dinner and if it is warm day you should try a Radler - which is a blend of beer and softdrink(I guess) it is great on a warm summerday

Have called in here several times with son we visit a medical clinic in next road. Today, 5th Feb, we called in sat down at window seat. We were immediately told by this waitress (one of the older that we couldn’t sit there. She...didn’t direct us anywhere else but when we chose another table she just glared at us and ignored us when we asked if it was OK to sit there. We walked out.

Eating is quite delicious – decent desserts with a good value for money ratio large Indian curries. I have ordered almost exclusively desserts/currencies as a carrier. the service is bizarre. we said they wouldn't book us outside, because outside seats are in the rule for customers who eat dinner. Does that mean that no one who is an outside can ever book an outside? then we were told that we just had to show up, and if a table is available outside, we could sit there. we have canceled the reservation. What a find! We were staying in Schumannstraße for about two weeks and were so lucky to have extro right up the street.1. Great food! I am reluctant to say it but extro's Peanut Chicken is better than my own Chicken Satay...2. Exceptional service! Lovely and friendly service every time we were there.3. Extro seems to be a favourite with the locals. It was great to watch the ladies having their coffee and cake and the local pastor enjoying his cigarette and having a chat with whoever passed by.It's only about ten minutes walk from the centre of Bonn (corner of Schumannstraße and Lessingstraße). Well worth it!

we know the caffe extro for a few years, but after a long break we renewed our experiences with it. the ambiente is bourgeois and the visitors are more of a raised class. it is therefore not perfect for children, but also children... their money is worth it thanks to the good offer. the caffe is comfortably furnished and has a spacious outside area that invites you to the breakfast or to the afternoon coffee in a quiet residential area, especially in summer. the cakes are excellent. we took cake with coffee and we were very happy with it. the service was friendly and friendly. we had a very pleasant time in caffe.
