Very nice café with delicious cakes, cakes and coffee. The staff is very friendly and ready for a small talk! A nice ambience and a beautiful view of the marketplace complete the rich offer!

The homemade lemonade is delicious. I enjoyed the potato soup and my husband loved the dumplings. We dined outside on a beautiful day and they even have blankets provided if you get a chill. Our waitress was super helpful and spoke great English since my German is “nich so gut!”

We had left our itinerary due to the VeggieCow review and arrived at this café. And were thrilled! The selection of vegan cakes and patisserie really convinced. We almost tried everything. We loved our late afternoon lunch at Cafe Pause. It was such a beautiful Fall day we were able to have our lunch on the patio which overlooks the Market Square. Food was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed our hot mulled wine and hot...brandy punch. The staff was friendly and it’s always a treat to have a server who speaks English better than myself. Ver carta

we were very happy about the vegan options, because these were not so clear on the homepage. after a call we decided to try it and were rewarded with a super delicious cake! the peculiarity meant that his wife does not wear eggs and milk, and therefore they have been offering vegan alternatives for years. for us there were three different cakes to choose this day. Furthermore, there are solid dishes on the map like baked cheese baguette, three different bowls, vegan quiche, tomato soup and a vegan cocoa alternative with soy or hafer milk. very recommended cafe with great location in the beautiful city of freudenstadt

I visited Freudenstadt for the very first time in the hight of the summer months and I stumbled across Café Pause located directly on the Marketplace. I was greeted by delightful staff who were more than accommodating and spoke wonderful English as my German is a little rusty to say the least ; The Food was generously plated and the service was second to none. I enjoyed a delicious Flat White Coffee to round out my experience basking in the afternoon sun out on the terrace. I highly recommend a visit inside the cafe to look and the wonderful cakes on offer which are baked daily and freshly onsite the portion sizes will NOT disappoint you!!!

Si estás en Freudenstadt, este increíble café es definitivamente tu lugar para ir a !! Está situado en una hermosa ubicación en el centro de la ciudad, en el mercado más grande de Alemania. ¡Tienen una gran variedad de deliciosos pasteles que no he visto antes! ... ¡y cada pastel que hemos probado fue absolutamente increíble! ¡Una gran variedad de comidas adecuadas que sirven todo el día!
