Cafe Society - Carta

First visit very impressed fabulous little place great food, friendly staff and good prices. Very nice menu suits all tastes !

The staff were very welcoming and the menu offered a good variety of options. However, the portion sizes did not justify the cost. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, but some lacked flavor.

I've been going to this caffe for years and this place is a jewel. my mushroom soup was good. the coffee is brilliant and simply loves the theatre and musical mood. service is always cheerful and attentive. wonderful place.

I went to this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, there were some issues with the delivery and preparation. I had to ask for a drink twice, and the eggs I ordered on toast were not prepared as requested. It would have been better if they asked for clarification. The customer service was lacking in attention to detail. On a positive note, the food was great, but the toast could use more butter. Ver carta

My boyfriend and I always walk past this cafe and say we want to try it. Well today we did and it was great. Ordered sweet chilli chicken panini, and chorizo and tomato panini with tea and a chocolate milkshake. All great, couldn’t fault it. Also, I came dressed in blue dungarees with a red top and the cashier called me Mario for the duration of our stay :D I thought this was hilarious and I love to see staff with a sense of humour.

We probably should have left when we saw the unimpressive menu and a few dirty tables, but we remembered how good this place used to be at its previous location. Unfortunately, our experience this time was far from good. The coffee was scalding hot and the sausage sandwich was the worst I've ever had, especially considering its £5 price tag. I couldn't even finish a few bites of it. There was no one around to provide feedback to, except for one busy worker behind the counter. Overall, we won't be returning to this restaurant.

I stopped by today for a refreshing ice-cold latte and a slice of delicious lemon and blueberry gluten-free cake to enjoy outside in the beautiful sunshine. Shannon served me with a friendly smile and both the latte and cake were absolutely delicious. The menu had a good selection of drinks and cakes, including many vegan and gluten-free options. I will definitely be back to try more items from the menu as everything looked amazing and delicious. The place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. I can't wait to come back, especially for that incredible cake! Ver carta
