"Last night, we had the best tapas we've had in a long time at this restaurant. Our 9-year-old daughter tried tapas for the first time and had a great introduction. The tapas dishes were delicious, with a nice selection of wines, local beers, and soft drinks. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was perfect with dimmed lights, background music, and twinkling fairy lights. The cafe had quirky red squirrel pictures, ornaments, and decorations. We had lunch there last week and enjoyed the club sandwich, sharing platter, and delicious coffee. We were so impressed that I offered to drive for our tapas night. Thanks to the talented chef, waiting staff, and owner for a wonderful experience at this hidden gem of a place. What a find!"

Small but perfect cafe. Enjoyed a tasty lunch , then returned in the Evening to try the tapas menu. Great selection of tasty dishes, local ales and wine. Di runs a friendly welcoming cafe would thoroughly recommend. Dog friendly a bonus

We visited yesterday on our very reluctant departure from beautiful Anglesey mod morning. Di was the friendliest most accomodating hostess. Her co worker (Sylvia? despite being new to role creates the most divine host pastrami club. Great coffee. We will be back.

Great find. We stopped at this lovely little cafe for lunch. The mixed platter was delicious and there was a really good selection of beers. The service was quick and super friendly. The owner took the time to give us helpful directions and tips for our walk too. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place and offers a unique dining experience for the area. We tried several dishes from the tapas menu and found them all to be delicious. The fridge also had a variety of interesting beers, rather than the typical mainstream options. The hostess was fantastic, keeping everything running smoothly and entertaining us throughout our meal.

This place is so much more than you might think from the outside. We had the evening tapas menu and were so impressed, not only by the delicious food (and the local gin! but by the attention to detail (due to some dietary needs and the warm welcome from the proprietor. Such a memorable evening. Shout out to the home made, mint chocolate (non dairy ganache a little treasure on Anglesey! Season closes 21 September we hear get in while you can!

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
