GREAT BUZZ about the place, food looked good and really tasted good. TOASTED SANDWICHES WERE GREAT, all served with a good side salad at no extra cost !!

Very friendly staff. Good menu selection particularly as lite bite the avocado on toast. Worth a visit even though it is a small cafeteria. Great for a brunch.

Generous size portions, reasonable prices and quick service made for a very decent lunch. Don't expect fine dining just good, honest food. The chicken, mozzarella, pesto and spinach pannini and apple strudel are my recommendations.

Lunch was realy good plenty of variety on menu.we all oredered diffrent lunches and was bought up at same time. Service was excellent.first time for me coming here.and if in area would come here again. People were quiening for tables.and we was not rushed at all.you pay as you leave.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's a cafe that is becoming increasingly rare to find. The ham and cheese toasted sandwich and square-shaped scone with butter and jam are absolutely delicious. The food is made fresh to order. The elderly residents of Stanmore frequent this place in large numbers. Anna and Ania provide excellent service with a warm smile.

The food is consistently fresh and the owner, Ben, ensures that the customers are always greeted by friendly staff, making their visit a pleasant one. However, the standout personality at Cartons is ANNA! She has been a fixture at the bakery for several years now, and has gained a sort of celebrity status due to her popularity with the customers. This café may appear average from the outside, but don't be fooled - the food and service here are exceptional. The staff are friendly and the menu offers a wide variety of freshly made, home cooked dishes ranging from pasta to salads, breakfast items, pastries, and more. Many of the patrons seemed to be regular locals, which is always a good sign. I particularly enjoyed the jacket potato with sweetcorn, which came with a side salad and was both delicious and satisfying. The portion size was generous and the prices were quite affordable.
