"I've been seeing the club for years. After uncommon experiences in quality and having read the previous reviews I feel to arrive at a conclusion: You must be lucky to find the moment when the cook is present, which is most likely not always present. In two people, this evening we spent €94: on appetizer, wine cellar and dessert nothing to laugh. Great disappointment the coastline: meat clearly badly cooked, probably put on a still cold plate that made it turn out almost boiled (I tend to specify that the quality of the meat felt to be as good as always, the problem was precisely in cooking). Despite the signalling and the advance of the dish, there has been no alternative, nor sincere apologies (they do not have the ability to complain) nor a discount on the total. It would take very little not to let us go away with the bitter in the mouth for this coast of delicious meat but ruined by cooking. If it is not present who knows how to cook the meat in order to value its quality, be honest and convey the customer on other dishes. without cook? I've been seeing the club for years. Good regionale food, reasonably priced. Also pizza if you don't want a long meal. Can get very busy, so making a reservation might be a good idea at the weekend.

We went twice to Casabella during our stays in Val Tidone. Once with our children and once with group of 35. The service (in English) is very good, and the staff is very friendly. The pizzas are very good and there is a large choice. Ver carta

Yes, a light in the dark because Sunday evening in these areas becomes difficult to dine. correct room, clean, ordered with the present service but never oppressive. average prices, excellent quality . we dined with fried dumpling and delicious meats, all good and in particular the culatello . culatello that we then enjoyed together with the almonds as condiment of the ears: excellent. Located on the hills of the vineyards, a well maintained place, with small quiet rooms and tastefully decorated. Our dinner at 2 was with few guests, to find a relaxed environment without frills, quiet and friendly. Tried dishes at the height of tradition. Prices a bit beyond what you can spend around, but we were fine. Local historical time, known by all, at the time of the account we waited only too much, we say well but not very well.

Spectacular lunch with the most wonderful starter of a selection of top quality regional salumi consisting of culatello, salami, Pancetta, coppa, prosciutto. Which are served on lovely wooden boards. Then I would suggest ordering the gnocchi fritte to accompany this, these are the most amazing large fried puffs of delightful pastry. They make perfect partners to this course. Following that for main course i had A huge fillet steak (Filletto di Manzo) cooked over charcoal, and my husband had a Tagliata (which in Italian means sliced, or cut) and is a steak which is about an inch thick which they cooked it in the same way over charcoal..both were incredibly tender and tasty. I can honestly say...

"This was the best all-around meal I had during my two weeks in Italy! I read about the restaurant in a blog and was excited to experience it for myself. After my experience, I have to say that it surpassed my expectations! Paola, Laura and their family were warm and welcoming. They made my family and I feel like family. The food was plentiful and EXCELLENT, all homemade and typical of Piacenza! We started with a platter of coppa, salami, and pancetta, accompanied by chisolini and giardiniera. Then we were served burtleina and fried fiori di zucca, which were incredible. Then the much anticipated tortelli con la coda, which was the best tortelli I had during my two weeks in Italy (and I spent a lot of time in Piacenza and Parma)! They also served homemade tomato/porcini sauce on the side which was one of the best I ever had. Then, to top it off, we were served the other crown jewel, anolini in brodo. It was to die for. All throughout our meal we drank homemade gutturnio in traditional fashion, which is to drink it from a bowl! Excellent gutturnio which they sell to the public for cheap. Go and buy yourself a few bottles! They also served us a variety of homemade desserts that were all excellent, and which were accompanied by a phenomenal homemade dessert wine. The price was very reasonable because of the superior quality and generous portion sizes. You MUST make the trip here to taste and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Paola, Laura and your wonderful family for such a great experience!"
