"To be honest, the most amazing curry I had in a long, long time (and I am from the north) with food there are two ways to be exceptional. make them cumbersome dishes good, or make them simple dishes perfect. this is a place for the latter, while still brilliant innovatiw. really a homage to excellent curry. can not recommend very enough."

"Stopped over in Motorhome on route to Cornwall, phoned day before, Jess told me where to park when I arrive. Parked up staff very friendly knew we were arriving and table reserved. Dog friendly. Food was excellent we had the steak and was cooked perfectly. Good atmosphere mainly with locals. Would thoroughly recommend as stop over from J21 on M5 only a couple of miles, so easy to get back on again. Location in heart of village with plenty of parking. Good nights sleep."

"Appalling food, we regularly eat in Hungry Horse pubs and they are always amazing. The meal we had today was abysmal. Clearly reheated chips from lunch, fish was thinner that an after eight and over cooked and generally poor. Server asked how it was, but was already walking away when I told her it was terrible. Didn’t ask if she could rectify it. Ate it as wasn’t exactly plentiful, but wish we hadn’t having as all felt sick since we got home. Probably explains why it was so quiet in there on Friday early evening. Worst hungry horse I’ve ever eaten in"

"This was my second visit to The Atlantic Fish Bar and Restaurant for a sit-down meal, with my last visit being about 5 years ago. I was not disappointed at all. The lady who was working between the restaurant and the take away shop gave us a great welcome. We ordered a regular Cod and chips and a Large Haddock, chips, and mushy peas. Both dishes were delightful, with the fish tasting fresh, the batter crispy, and the chips perfectly cooked - they were what I would describe as nice 'dry' chips. The portion sizes were very generous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend The Atlantic Fish Bar and Restaurant. It may have been 5 years since our last visit, but once again, it was a top-notch meal."
